A question about Brass Scorpions: I made a Brass Scorpion conversion from a Defiler do you think having the Hellmaw flame cannons mounted on the tail a better spot then on the body?

Based on the actual Brass Scorpion produced by FW, I believe that the 2 Flame Cannons are under-slung at the "mouth". Hence the name "Hellmaw cannon".

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Ok so if the I mount it on the head and the head on my model can move can swivel can the head then shoot in the direction of the thing I've now looking at or dose it have to be hull-mounted or what?

im not sure if hull mounting them is required or not, but that tail looks ridiculus high. would that not only limit the effectivness of the weapon, but also lead to modelling for advantage complaints? not sure how...

personally i would mount them on or near the head, as hull mounted with 45 degree fire arcs.
