So I have been sucked deeply enough into the hobby to need proper safe storage and transport of my beloved toy soldiers. I am inclined to get a Sabol bag, but am wondering which I should get. Should I get the smaller basic for now, and maybe get another in the futue, should I need more space? Or should I just get the Division now? For reference, here's a basic rundown of what I have/want to store:

Necrons:
-15 Warriors
-15 Immortals
-25 Scarab bases
-5 Crypteks
-6 Spyders
-6 Wraiths
-1 Monolith
-1 Ghost Ark

Angels Encarmine:
-15 Tacticals
-10 DC
-8 Assaulters
-2 Dreads
-2 Rhino/Razorbacks
-1 Baal Pred
-10 Termies

Hrm... Looking at all that, it seems like I NEED the Division.... But 1 Division or 2 Basics?

And! Any general testimonials and/or personal experiences/opinions on these products and Sabol greatly appreciated!

Thanks Dakka!

Do it this way: Use the battlefoam custom tray maker, make your trays and then you will know what sized carry case you need.

I've used Sabol stuff for a while now and they are good. The Mk2 version of their standard bag is better in that it lets you get to all your trays without having to take them all out. If you're just using them to store models then you may as well go for the larger bag. If you want to carry them around then you should probably go for 2 separate bags as they will be more wieldy. also how often will you want to take both armies with you at the same time.

Also I'm pretty sure that Sabol have their own version of tray design software.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I have 3 sabol bags.. the regular, motor pool (I think, it's short stubby and double-wide) and the division.

I started with their standard bag way back when it was new, and I found that it wasn't big enough for 2000ish point armies, but that's probably because I always have lots of big stuff. So that's why I got the Motor Pool bag, but then I decided I didn't like having to carry 2 bags so I went with the Division. I keep the other 2 for smaller armies now.

If you really want to spend the money, I'd go for the division. Get it filled with foam trays, and just keep the unused trays in there as space fillers until you need them.

Do you want to carry everything at once, or be able to use one smaller bag to carry one smaller army at a time?

The division is useful for big armies, or when there's other stuff I want to bring like smaller scenery pieces as well as the minis, but when I want to keep things as travel easy as possible, the basic is pretty useful.
