I love Khorne, the God of Blood.

When I listen Manowar, I always remember this kind of chaotic god, hahaha!!

I decided to made a Khorne terminator for a new project that I'm working on. There's a lot of chaos miniatures, but I want to have an exclusive one. That's why I did a conversion... with some different bits from WFantasy and W40K:

- body (terminator and space marine chest and back; terminator legs; space marine and terminator arms),
- chaotic head,
- chains, plasticard, green stuff...
- chaos warrior shoulders,
- and inspiration, hehe.

For the paint... I need to improve the contrast between lights and shadows. I'm really working on it, but it's very difficult!!

I hope you like it!!

That is pure Awesomeness! I love just about everything on this guy except the chaos/khorne Icons take away from the great paintjob. Still it is a small complaint on a sweet model.

Thanks a lot, UnCool!!
It's very difficult to me to take a good photo to the metal. It has washes and lights, but...
Take care!

The painting is excellent. How did you get that aged/worn effect? What techniques did you use?

I do have to say though, I think the model itself is a bit busy. I think it would look better with a few of the icons removed.

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"

Connann - whats the best in life?
Im sure you'd answer with "To crush your enemies, se them driven before you and hear the lamentation of the woman". YES THAT IS GOOD!

Hehe, this makes me wanna start a Khorn army with bits from FW. Great job man!

I want to know how you make the glossy blood.

Uppdate: I found articles about how everyone uses Tamyia Clear Red for bloodeffects. Willt ry that out.

It's really nice. Very, very well painted, very well-themed.

Only thing I am not crazy about is the base - maybe you were intending for it to be subdued, but I feel that the base "swallows" the model a bit. I am a big fan of placing contrasting or harmonizing colors in the base to really bring the model out. Maybe a small tuft of grass, or something like that.

But, really really amazing work.

Love the red color you got on the armor. Looks perfect. Also, managing to paint convincing bloodstains on top of that red armor? Damn impressive. I would agree that the model's very busy...I'd probably remove the icon on his knee, but hey that's just me.

Was listening to Track 6 "Take cover" from the Ultramarines movie. Was very fitting to your chaos marine.

As much as I love Warhammer 40000 and all of it's awesomeness and grim darkness - I must here say Clone Commandos would won the day.

Seems a little short for a storm trooper, but that may be the pick.

The painting is down right devine

The only thing I don't care for is that the base just blends with the model instead of adding pleasant contrast. Everything else is superb though.
