The Dakka Painting Challenge is back and roaring to go, and we've got a nice little doozy this time:

It's To INFINITY & Beyond!...which is a challenge featuring any of the amazing models from the game of Infinity from Corvus Belli. If you've been living under a rock and never seen an Infinity model before, here's just a tiny taste of one of their many amazing models:

Corvus Belli is so excited to have a painting competition centered around their models here on Dakka that they're providing €200 in prizes to the winners (with €100 going to first place alone)!

For all the rules and details, check out this thread in the Painting and Modeling forum.

Entry pictures must be submitted by May 13th, so get out there and start painting!

A big thanks again to Corvus Belli for sponsoring this challenge!

Public Voting is now open! So get on over into this voting thread and cast a vote for any and all of the entries you like. You've got just 5 days before we close the public voting down and pick a final winner from the top 5 public vote getters, so hurry up and vote for any and all the entries you like!

yakface's 40K rule #1: Although the rules allow you to use modeling to your advantage, how badly do you need to win your toy soldier games?
yakface's 40K rule #2: Friends don't let friends start a MEQ army.
yakface's 40K rule #3: Codex does not ALWAYS trump the rulebook, so please don't say that!

Good luck to all those entering and hopefully we shall see some gorgeous paint jobs in the near future. Also, a big thanks to CB for stumping up the readies and putting their money where their mouth is, so to speak. Nice to see a manufacturer willing to give a little to help promote their game. Makes me want to play Infinity! (on top of the other million and one things I have left to paint!)

CB is one of my favorite companies out there.

Now I just have to pick what the heck I'm going to do...

Who are you kidding!

Just make sure you don't post any early preview pics of the Netrod you're submitting!

I decided to start painting that one already, so that's not happening.

Might do a conversion for something important for ALEPH forces though...

Hmmm, paint some splinter faction Zensebutai, or get a Jotum for conversions, that is the question.

I just bought a couple Haqqislam minis from the War Store. I'm trying to get back into painting again and what better way than with a contest, lol...

I have no idea what I want to paint, so I'm going to take a picture of everything I have unpainted and see what I like best when the time comes.

So the entries have been received and the voting thread is now open. We received a record number of entries for a Dakka Painting Challenge, over FORTY ENTRIES, including some of these beauties (and many, many more):

But we need your help now to whittle down this crazy number of entries to a top 5 for judging. So get on over into this voting thread and cast a vote for any and all of the entries you like. You've got just 5 days before we close the public voting down and pick a final winner from the top 5 public vote getters, so hurry up and get voting!
