Possessed Khorne Marine Covered in Spikes

I am trying to make chaos cultists, both in preparation for the rumours of the new codex and to run as wolf scouts when I run my World Eaters in the SW codex. My plan was to use chaos marauders and Cadians (since i have both kits) but theres an issue with matching up the pieces.

I wanted my cultists to have armour, so i tried to combine Cadian torsos with the marauders legs, but the Cadain torsos look really scrawny. The marauder arms meet up fine, but the head is oversized with the cadian torso which makes it look even scrawnier.

I don't want to end up using beastmen, since i want to mix in beastmen marines into my army, and i don't want it to get confusing.

I'm kind of stuck now, i don't have any more ideas. I think the problem might be with the marauder heads, but i don't know what other heads to use. The cadians' heads don't feel right to as cultists. What would be a decent khornate alternative? Third party is fine. I am about to get paid, so i will have some money to spare.

I could use some help, I'm open to ideas. Basically the only thing i want is chaosy cultists in some armour.

Any help is appreciated

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

You should check out the Empire Flagellants kit.
I think it would work perfectly for you

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

The 'ard way: model armour with green stuff (or milliput, since it's better for that) on the marauders?

Forgeworld renegade arms are a godsend, I've been working on pretty much what you've described (apart from the armoured bit but thats more core torso). The arms on a flaggelant:

Even if you use the cadian torso's you can do a great job mixing in zombie heads and flaggellant heads, one of which was modelled in the photo that I provided.

Provided you end up using forge world you'll have a good choice of autoguns, plasma, metal, CC weaponry and icons which will let you really spread out the weapons in your units.

I've got a good variety of cultist conversions in my renegade gallery if you want to take a look.

Hmmm tough one. I made my cultists back in the 90s for second edition out of Zombies when the kit was brand new. I just painted them in some more chaos looking colors and gave them auto pistols.

The problem for you is the armour. Zombie kit heads look good on just about anything so no problem there. For the chest pieces have you seen Void plastic Viridian or Junkers? You can still find them on Ebay sometimes. Great multi part kits. Wargame Terrain shock troops are really cheap and the bodies have armour and great coats. Plus they're a little larger than a Cadian Torso and the Cadian arms still fit. If you're set on the arms/legs you already have you could even cut off the chest from them and use that ... they're cheap enough you wont feel bad about it. The well for the neck is bigger than Cadian too, so the bigger heads will look better. Google them and see if you like them.

"Oh yeah ... You and what army?" ... "Me and my Zoats $#!&*! that's who!"

For heads there is the ever-popular choice of Pig Iron. they do a variety of heads with and without armour. They would also fit well with the Cadian torso as they are a tad smaller than normal GW heads. It might lead to weirdness with the arms though, if they are particularly poorly proportioned.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
