I think the title here speaks for itself, but here are the rules.
I'm going to let you guys duke this out. By the end of three days, or three pages, whichever comes first, I'm going to tabulate the score, yea, or nae, and then write a little short depicting the battle.
All you need is the name of your vote at the end of your post, though it would be awesome if you add the reasons why! And NO STATS OR META. This is fluff-based. Don't come up to me saying, oh, the Eversor is a better Assaulter, or something. That's not what we're judging by.

I'm tipping the Eversor Assassin.
Stealth + fancy imperial equipment + drug induced frenzy + scarey looking skull mask = one sorry warlock.

I'm also going with Eversor.
Those things are just basically whirlwinds of destruction Ain't no pansy Eldar gonna stand to one of them!

My vote is against the early trend and is for the Warlock.
Reason being the Evesor is fluff wise a terror weapon used to tear up a hole base/garrison/depot before exploding in a mess of chemically induced splendour.
And a Warlock is only dons the Warlock hat during war....
Therefore, for an Evesor to take out a Warlock he would need to go through the Eldar warhost to take out a single warlock? I think not.
+1 to the Warlock please. (Culexus on the other hand and all the Seer Council will run and hide)

I probably should have mentioned this, but this is a one-vs-one fight. Basically, Warlock and Eversor meet in a dark alley. There is no warhost. They're all on their own with each other. My apologies for the mixup.

Warlock. Cause they never go anywhere without being Fortuned, and even if they did meet in a dark alley, Fortune lasts a while. Plus, witchblade, conceal, embolden, enhance, and other goodies.

Both players should be using the least durable units possible, with the house rule that all players remove an article of clothing every time you lose a unit, and take a drink every time you kill one of your opponent's units.
I have no idea which army will be triumphant, but I can assure you that everyone wins.

The neurogauntlet and the witchblade are equally deadly. While the Warlock has psychic ability, the Eversor is pumped with drugs, wielding a pistol with poison to instakill the Warlock, the drug induced frenzy would allow the Eversor to rampage and destroy entire bases. There is no way a single minor Psyker could defeat such a monstrosity one on one.

Probably somewhat along the lines of this:
Easy victory to the Eldar Warlock
A hard fight, but the Eldar Warlock triumphs
Either one may get the kill, but the other will probably die of his/her injuries
Eversor Assassin pulls of the kill, although it is difficult
The Assassin easily beats the Warlock

As do I. Despite what I said about the three-days, three pages rule, I think I'm going to wrap this up about now. So, on that note, watch the Fluff Forum for the result, and await the next episode!

Well even if the Eversor dies he explodes and kills the warlock, so... he wins.
Also Eversor assassins are basically one man armies having neural gauntlet, power weapon (usually a sword), a pistol that shoots both needles and bolts, so many drugs inside his drug stream that his mind just cannot be messed with (he turns into a killing machine not a sentient man), explosive mechanism + the combustive nature of the chemicals within him, the scull mask is equipped with prey sight (predator heat vision but without the weird purring sound), he is stronger and faster than normal humans and eldar, pain invigorates him rather than give him pause.
That warlock haves a chance of coarse as warlocks differ in their power, but it is a small one.
My vote goes to the +1 EVERSOR.

Sorry, man, but this one's already done. You're fully welcome to go into the Fluff thread and read the resultant short fic, if you like, or go vote for our next matchup; Avatar of Khaine vs. Bloodthirster!
Or do both.
