Iron Warriors Army: Enyo Company
Enyo (Greek: Ενυώ, English translation: "warlike" in Greek mythology; Roman: Bellona), was an ancient goddess of war, acting as a counterpart and companion to the war god Ares. She is also identified as his sister, and daughter of Zeus and Hera in a role closely resembling that of Eris; with Homer in particular representing the two as the same goddess. As goddess of war, Enyo is responsible for orchestrating the destruction of cities

Uh Fluffyfen, I'm glad you liked my idea, and I'm flattered you decided to make a similar model of your own, but next time, it would be far more polite to credit the idea to the original poster rather than passing it off as your own.

Thanks,

Hmm... Personally I think the two renditions are different enough to imagine they could have been arrived at independantly. Unless they are actually re-posting your work as their own, give them the benefit of the doubt, why don't you?

sorry i've never seen your conversion until now. i can say truely i came up with the idea on my own as a reaver jetbike conversion. its simply a coincidence that they apear similar.
I made this conversion around may for a contest on a different forum. also i havent even been on dakka since around this month. i know ive had an account fora while butnever did anything here. tbh i feel a little offended by your statement.

and btw ive only looked at the first 5 pages so again i never saw that conversion till now

Really?
The only similarity between these two models I see is the use of a sail.

I used a sail on my venoms and on my interpretation of Baron Sathonyx. Are you accusing me of plagiarism too?

Apologies for the somewhat blunt accusation of my original post, I've had similar problems on different sites and the idea of that sort of thing morally annoys me, but Flinty was right, I should have given you the benefit of the doubt. Sorry you feel offended, but unfortunately there are a lot of people out there that do steal ideas and pass them off as their own and I've been the butt end of that particular joke many a time, so I think my accusation was at least partially justified, if not a little hasty.
Again, sorry for the assumption, it's a nice model.

Nice work Maxxev - I particularly like the Dryad and the Wraith.

@Wazoo - that is a thing of beauty

@Garvil - Nice work, but I think you could tidy up the red apothecary symbols a bit more. The new Ceramite White should cover the red nicely.

I think you should be more polite, and research the internet before saying things like that...

Your Baron is not the first one i have seen, and use a very common conversion ideia, it is very nicely done, but that behavior is not healthy, you know.

This hobby is about doying things for fun, not recognizement, im glad you made a conversion you like, but you dont have ANY right to claim it is "your design"

This rant of your just destroyed all the brightness of that gorgeus model you converted... im sad about it.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I just have seem your excuses. I too think that sometimes original ideias should be "credited", but i think too that if you face it so serious, you are not doying the hobby the right way.

Get it easy man...
