Hey guys

My friend wanted to try out 40k and picked up some GKs today. I've tried to help put a list together, but I don't play GK myself and thought I'd ask for some help. He bought Draigo, a Libby in termie armour and two terminator squads.

Right now we're thinking:

Draigo
4x paladins (1 with psycannon/hammer, 1 with halberd, 2 standard equipment)

Librarian (quicksilver, might of titan)
5x paladins (1 with psycannon/hammer, 1 with psycannon/halberd, 3 standard equipment)

That comes to 990. We're really just looking for a viable 1000 point configuration to try the game out before looking to move on with the list.

I mean... sure. It's Draigowing @ 1000p is very limiting so.... looks good. 11 models at 1000p is fairly rediculous, and you probably won't really get a feel for Draigowing without at least 1850... probably 2k

1000 points is a tough game for Draigowing.

For what you have there, you need...

Take more Halberds as they are the best weapon the GK have. Master Craft some to take advantage of the wound allocation rules.

My units of Five Paladins consist of...

Paladin: Hammer.
Paladin: Falchions (Apparently a bad choice, but it has worked very very well for me, the extra attack has killed things when needed).
Paladin: Halberd.
Paladin: Halberd and Psycannon.
Paladin: MC Halberd and Psycannon.

This unit, while small, is a beatstick that takes big hits thanks to wound allocation.

If you don't have an extra Psycannon, use the Incinerator. They come in handy in low point games where you need to get up close.

Your list is illegal. You must have 5 Paladins in a unit inorder to get special weapons. So you have to remove the Psycannon from the unit of 4.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.
