Depends entirely on what you ordered. How long is the 'while' that you have been waiting? Have you emailed or called them to ask what the delay is?

Also note they can only place orders on a Friday, so if you have placed it since Saturday last week, and its an item they need to order in, it won't even be ordered till tomorrow.

You've only been waiting a week? That's no big deal. Some companies have a specific day they ship out on, regardless of when your order goes through, typically a Tuesday I believe. This company, of course, may use a different day. That means if you ordered Wednesday, you have a full week before their next shipping day. If it approaches 2 weeks and you don't have your stuff, it's time to check in with them.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I can't understand why a company would do this or why a customer would put up with this.

Especially in an age where anything you buy on ebay from a 70 year old woman is usually mailed the same day.

Bad example unfortunately-those 70 yr old women usually aren't bringing 40+ boxes to the post office. If they bring them every day, it takes a lot out of the day, every day. Having one day out of the week, devoted to shipping, makes it easier for them. They should let customers know what day they ship out, but that's it. And a lot of us work so much, we order stuff and we'll get to work on it when it gets in.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

One would hope that they actually have arranged so the postal service comes to them and picks up parcels. Instead of the other way around.

OP: It's nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately. -.- Send them an e-mail on monday. With a little luck you will get a response.

This is what i don't get.

If a website says they will send your order out within a specific time frame and that passes we don't stand for it in most other industries.

But when a company that deals in the hobby does it many people i have spoken to will just shrug and say wait longer.

I reckon it's because a lot of us gamer types have no spine and don't want to start trouble. Or no, I'm sorry, they're just so "chill" and don't care because there are more important things to worry about than toys that cost way more than anything should. Yeah, that's it.

I don't think the sarcasm is necessary on the second part. I know that if I ordered something and it took a while, it wouldn't really bother me because I have a metric asstonne of stuff to paint in the meantime...others of you may have completely clean desks just waiting for that shiny order (doubt it though) in which case I'm sure they would raise hell, but the majority of people would probably just shrug, send a query email after a week or so, and get onto painting the other hundreds of dollars of hobby stuff they have neglected until now.

Edit: And OP, I think that a week isn't too bad, including the ordering once a week and shipping once a week thing. If you have other things to paint, do them. Proxy a few games of warmachine in the meanwhile so you can get the rules downpat, do something constructive. Waiting by the mail box just means more time that minis are going unpainted and unloved.

well, looked at the order date and it turns out it's been three weeks and it's still processing :3

TBH it's not bothering me that much but it seems pretty silly that when I order things from their ebay page I get them in about three days......this has taken three weeks : /

There is a big difference between one week and three weeks. Time to give them a call. If they've been processing it for three weeks and haven't sent it out or sent an email apologizing for not having it in stock and sending it ASAP, it's time to request a refund and buy elsewhere. Not shipping for 3 weeks is inexcusable.
