Didn't we kind of entertain the notion in your other thread about this that cherry-picking Huron out of the FW ruleset with a Blood Angels list is sort of a taboo subject?

War Walker Pilot with Withering Fire

You need meltaguns on the assault marines, and probably some priests, to get FNP (Chaplains might be good, too). If you're gonna go assaulty, you may as well go all the way. If you want to keep "fluffy" with your list, well I'm not sure what the Astral Claws would likely use. On a separate note, I just realized I've never played against a Blood Angels player who uses Terminators.

On a separate note, I just realized I've never played against a Blood Angels player who uses Terminators.
My idea of the tactics so far is for practically everything except the TAC marines to deepstrike. The dreads will do their best to get right behind some big vehicles, which will at least stir something up, while everything else just goes where it needs too. but thanks for the meltagun idea... that's like 5 points a gun right? that's a good idea. I put the termies in for huron, plus I just like lightning claws. re-roll all to wound

Melta's are 10 point a gun, and I would recomend a PF or 2, you'll have a hard time against MC in cc without one

Also, by any chance did you read the rules of posting? You cant have all those separate points costs. If you want to post points, post the points of the squad after all upgrades!

That would work well for you, deepstriking squads with a few Meltaguns each? that will crack some vehicles, maybe some plasma pistols for sargeants, etc, too, though that might be overkill (pretty expensive if I remember)

Well, at least with FNP you get two rolls. That's pretty good insurance, and usually an extra s7 ap2 is worth it, plasma pistols can be used on jump infantry to good effect. Trust me, if Codex SM could take Melta Guns on jump infantry, we would; instead, we gotta make due with Plasma Pistols and Flamers.
