Yay. This time I can post the news. Just took another look into the Minions gallery and found the new stuff.

Each witch doctor is a powerful mystic who lives and breathes the foul necromantic arts that are his birthright. Life and death are two edges of the same bloody knife to the witch doctor, who often sees his allies as nothing more than tools of battle to be moved between those two states as required. Amid the morass of combat he gathers the vile totems required to power his spells, tearing the fleshy trophies from the carcasses of vanquished foes. Raising his sacral blade aloft, the witch doctor utters sibilant incantations that impel the huge beasts he control in a wave of scaled death.

Blindwater is my new favourite WARMAHORDES faction, altough I have to say this guy looks a little.. generic. As far as Voodoo Priest Aligators go. I'll get one anyway.

Griffons are predators that combine the sinewy grace of great hunting cats with the ferocity of birds of prey. Druids of the Circle Orboros have long tended griffon fledglings far from civilization and picked out those best suited to their needs. In the Scarsfell griffon they have found a hunter with a remarkable aptitude for stealth and ambush, one able to dive from great heights to surprise even well-camouflaged prey far below.

Haven't read the new book yet, so I didn't see this mini coming. Griffons seem awefully... normal for the Iron Kingdoms. And the model doesn't exactly wow me. Could get interesting if we get more flying beasts, but so far, he doesn't fit with the rest of the Circle IMO

Caspian engineers developed the hulking Centurion to rival the size and strength of Khador’s warjacks. Its increased armor and heavy shield makes it one of Cygnar’s most durable designs, and its mighty piston spear can easily pierce the hulls of enemy warjacks. The Hammersmith swaps out shield and spear with massive twin forge hammers meant to flatten anything in its path, while the Avenger features a stun blade and a groundbreaking seismic cannon. Representing a step forward in Cygnaran technology, the seismic cannon fires sophisticated projectiles that can unleash a localized earthquake upon impact.

SPECIAL NOTE: This box contains all the parts necessary to assemble one of three heavy warjack variants (Avenger, Centurion, or Hammersmith), plus three color stat cards (not shown). A player may field any number of these heavy warjacks in a Cygnar army.

And here's the new Cygnar plastic box. The new Centurion certainly looks more impressive then the old one, but I don't think I'll get a second. Never was a big fan of the Hammersmith and those hammers look quite ridicoulus, even for WARMACHINE standards. Haven't decided what to think of the Avenger yet. Nice gun, weird sword.

Lol, agree completely about the old ones, though looks like they might have overcompensated on that cent.

I like the avenger, though I'll probably end up finding the bits and sticking them on someone's discarded metal Cent.

Gatorman isn't doing much for me (like so many PP minis, nice details, stupid pose), and pleasantly surprised about the griffon mini, though more upright than I'd prefer..

Most PP models don't appeal to me, but that gator shaman rules.

Gatorman witch doctor- Such an awesome idea, and a decent model... thankfully, not incredibly AMAZING so I won't be tempted enough to get it when it doesn't really buff trollbloods all that well (we already have tough, etc... although becoming undead is cool).

Griffon- Interesting! I think it will grow on me...

Cygnar Jacks- I think they nailed these!

OP's commentary is spot-on, as well, as far as the specifics of the models. Overall, I think it's a solid release.

Glad to see the Cent got a spear that's... well actually a spear. The jacks look great.

Nothing wrong with that gator at all... but something about the snout is bugging me.

As for the griffon... it's not doing anything for me. Maybe I'm too traditional in my tastes, but to me it looks like they just added a beak and wings to a warpwolf, rather than a true griffon, which I think would have been awesome. It doesn't even seem to follow it's own background, because I see nothing that says "cat" on that entire mini. Mutated bird human, sure, but cat... not seeing it.

Gatormen don't do anything for me.

Griffen is cool. I'd like it more without the hood on.

Jacks are Jacks, but the paint on the Centurion's shield is AWESOME.

Confirmation of why no-one should listen to Kanluwen when it comes to the IG - he doesn't want the IG, he want's Kan's New Model Army...

Ill have you know that the fact that I am advicating against buying a model that makes you undead while playing a faction that wants to feast on your sweet delicious souls is entirely coincidental good sir, and I find your implications to the contrary to be nothing but lies and slander!

P.S. Don't buy the witch doctor! It's bad! Bad I tell you!

I love the gatormen models, this is an excellent addition to the line.

The Griffon is also excellent, although I'm not exactly sure why he's wearing the hood.

And some stuff for the Cygnaran dogs.

On a slightly more serious note, I wonder how long it will take someone to commission me to sculpt a suit onto the griffon.

As a Cryx player, making models Undead should worry you less than the fact that the Witch Doctor also has Dominate Undead. What's that? I just messed up the placement for your perfect Feat turn you were planning?

I'm getting 3.

Love the Griffon - is there a price and release date?

Also, each new Gator release brings me that much closer to getting a new army!

The Witch Doctor is great, but the paint scheme on the skin leaves something to be desired. I love the Griffon, and the Cygnar 'jack are much better than the metal versions (especially the Hammersmith).
