Tempting... can't really afford this right now, but the prospect of using track & supports more or less as is (quick pale blue paintjob) and doing up the carriage to be a bit more aerodynamic (think, like the Transrapid, only with Infinity ads on the side) is strong:

Nice find, i'm planning a crazy ass Infinity table with its own subway system, if you can get a nice scale then it could be epic.

I was somewhat inspired by this:

Are there any models of the bullet trains or something? I would think for infinity they should be more modern looking. Though I guess on Earth there would still be things like that.

I'm not sure but i bet they'd be expensive. I was going to buy a cheap kit and scratch build my own carriages to go onto the electric parts.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

I think someone posted some kind of monoraiil-train thing that came from Toys'R'Us or somewhere similar?

I had the idea of using some 'O' Gauge stuff to make some kind of sky-subway (?!), which is more or less the right scale, but then I saw the prices!

Been thinking more on this (way too much more!).

The Disney monorail playset seems like the default approach:

I'm wondering about curtain rail for the rail and balsa for the supports though... and a scratch-built train made from, I dunno, some cheap toy lightsabre handles?

That looks awesome - but does it scale well with the 'true 28mm' Infinity figs?

Not my style but a good option.

@Alph: Figures 3/4'' H to 1 1/4'' H

The total length of the Disney train is 24", making the carriages, at a guess, 4" / 100mm long for the central three, and 5" / 125mm long for the end ones (allowing for a bit of length for the flexible connectors too). So my guess is it'd be about right.

(Also, Dumbo as counts-as remote? Maybe one of the Ghost: Servant doctor's helper remotes?)

Yeh if the included toys are 1 1/4'' maximum and it looks like you could fit maybe 4 to 6 in each carriage then that scales pretty well with Infinity i'd think. The whole thing is very clunky though so it's probably going to look a bit weird.
