Yeah, I am pretty sure it will be fliers but I hope there is something else.

To be brief, here are the main rumours I remember :

1) 6th ed is for June/July
2) Flyers come out in July
4) CSM receive their codex in May/June/September/October/November
5) Dark Angels are first to receive a codex update after the release of 6th ed
6) CSM are first to receive a codex after the releas of 6th ed

As far as I know, none of these rumours as been confirmed until yet.

Honestly hoping it's 6th, at this point the rumors are going to tear things apart. Fliers just aren't in comparison to a whole edition change.

To be honest, I absolutly don't care about fliers. A new edition or even a new codex would be far more appreciated. I think that GW should edit/fix their game (and mistakes) before producing new waves of miniatures. Hell.

Black Templars are starting to look more and more remote. It just seems (from admittedly a LOT of speculation) that we're just being ignored in favour of 6th, Dark Angels and Chaos Marines. I guess it's justified in some ways, but having a codex thats nearly 7 years out of date is... irritating.

I'm also fairly certain the Tau deserve an update, probably more than us.

There seem to be no releases in June. The new edition will come out at July 14.

I have to agree that it is kinda sad to see how much were are just being ignored in like well every aspect, no new novels, no news for codex nothing to keep BT players even hopeful that we will get any love anytime soon.

Well, there was the FAQ update which gave Black Templars 3++ storm shields and heavy 2 Cyclones. That's more love than Tau have gotten though.

June: Flyers
July: 6th edition rulebook
August: Warriors of Chaos armybook
September: Starter box Dark Angels vs. Chaos (including cultists)
October: Chaos Legions Codex
No Dark Angels Codex soon.
No official confirmation for any of these of course.

I like the current BT codex. It's better than the modern marine one in many ways

1) Better terminators
2) Much much much better techmarines
3) Much much much better predator annihilators
4) better land-speeders
5) better HQs
6) armory is awesome

I'm pretty content with the current one as well, it's a bit sad that we're much better at shooting than at assault though. We're basically Deathwing, only black instead of white.

Hey, don't discount Preferred Enemy. The only codex I've had trouble with in Assault is GKs, and that's exclusively because of psychotroke grenades.

Have to agree on all of this with you, however it's more the infantry part and the vehicule cost that have problems.
Regular Crusader squads have poor options, in my opinion, compared to the other MeQ.
Rhinos and Razorbacks cost too much to bring numerous troops on te table.
The obligation of taken the Emperor champion is kinda annoying a little. Or at least when your playing games lower than 1500 pts.
The BT as a whole don't have enough melee options.

As a DE player, you guys dont know what pain is. Try 12 years.

I really like the current BT play.

The current consensus is that there will be only 1 chaos codex, not multiple.

The most sensible progression appears to me to be;

June; Flyers/some other wave release.
July; 6th Ed
August; ???
September; 6th Ed boxed set.
October; CSM
November; The Hobbit game.
