On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Hey guys,

Was recently informed that this event is taking place, and it hasn't been terribly well publicised so thought I would post it here!

Here is the official thread on the Cut & Thrust forum: http://www.miniature-wargames.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=442

At the moment there doesn't seem to be any clear indication of what the day will involve. I think the owner of the shop has essentially said that they will go with whatever format people want to do! So, as well as an advert for the event I thought it might be useful to get some discussion about what will happen there, and also to try and get people to register on the Cut & Thrust forum so they know what kind of numbers to expect. Obviously more numbers will mean that the whole thing gets a lot more attention!

So, what kind of format would people want to see? Perhaps an informal tournament of some kind, or even loose campaign setting? Or how about some special missions (such as the ones IJW has come up with?)

I'm hoping to go with a friend, possibly 2, and IJW has said he wants to attend but it would be great if we could try and get a dozen or people to come! Bristol is also an interesting city and a great night out for anyone who might be thinking of travelling!

So, please write below if you are interested or have any thoughts about the event!

I'll be there and will be attempting to dragoon a couple of Exeter players tonight.

Hopefully I'll have time to print out some more YAMS mission cards.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Are those the TaOS 1.1 mission cards, or something different?

Might be cool to have some kind of round-robin style event? And perhaps finally some kind of special game to finish it off, like the Zombie mission you posted on the official Infinity forum, with perhaps everyone taking a couple of guys? Just a thought!

It's a descendant of TaOS and Mission Roulette.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Just a bump and reminder for this event coming up on Sunday!

Bristol is pretty easy to get to for anyone travelling, and Cut & Thrust has a great range of stuff well worth travelling for!

I will try and find full details of the day and to post here when I do..
