Yeah, that Corvus pattern is amazing. The pose and the attitude of the model speak volumes. Once it all gets painted up it's going to be outright striking.

Saturday update! wheee! i am productive. also.. drinking beer and playing with plastic and an exactoknife inevidly results in cuts.. just so you know.

Mk 3 is ready for the paints. well, there's some additional detail I can slap on and I need to gap-fill just little on the shoulderpad 'rims' but yeah.. as good as done.
For yeah pleshaaah..

So.. that dreadnought I poked around with a while back.. I have decided that he fit in better here than with the usual marines. here he's just the right size.

The boys and the dread. sooon.. there shall be paint.

That's all folks. Have at it!

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.

The Mk3 is FANTASTIC! You avoided several weaknesses most true scale conversions have, kudos! I'll have another look at this one when I get around to do a ts marine myself.

OH-I Wanna get out of here

These are all way to good. It's funny, pre-primer, I thought the Dread looked goofy. Now it looks totally normal.

What do you do with the rest of the termi parts if I can ask?

Ooooooh! Tasty truescale...And a dreadnought too! The one thing I would add (well, perhaps two...) is that the dread's head might look better if it was raised up a little bit so that it is more centered in its collar/hood thing. The other is that you may want to add something to texture the bases in between the pieces of pipe and the panelling.

The mark 3 is my favorite, I think, but the mark 4 is sweeeet

Tanks for the words people.

@ Baiyuan: what weaknesses are that? can be interesting to know so I don't make silly mistakes.

@ Imperial Monkey: You know, I don't remember. they might be from the SM attackbike kit or the scout bikers.

@ whalemusic360: whole parts where added to the bitzbox, some of the arms will be thrown to my terminatorsquads for diversivication, stuff too damaged to be usefull will be used as basing materials. some find a new home in the recyclingbin.

@ prime12357: Heh, the bases are going to get a generous helping of sandand pva-glue, don't worry on that front. I know what you mean with the head but it's not just possible. because then I have to raise the entire sarcophagus and that thing's quite stuck where it is. I can't get it right all the time.

So, I am working on the 5th squadmember right now. will be a mk VI 'corvus' type toting an assultcannon and a lightningclaw. Also I thought I would break out the brush and paints. Wich one would you like me to paint first?

Just checking with the bases, you can never be too sure The dread is fine the way it is, anyways, so no worries there.

Paint? First? Well, that'd have to be the Mk III for me

That one bolter slung down in the holster like a giant pistol just looks wicked.

Did a great job converting them up, I can't wait to see the first coat of primer that blends everything together, I'm sure they'll look outright wicked.

Wished I had more time to paint today, but alas...

From the SM attackbike kit I belive, I do not remember definitively though. Or the scout bike kit, it's definitely from a bike kit though.

I did a little digging on bitz sites, and it is indeed from the attack bike kit.

Looking great so far, though I feel it needs some other color to set off the dark tones of the armor and metals. Granted the dark tones of the armor and metals look fantastic, so...

Ok, now I demand my tank of gratitude! Where is it?

@ Baiyuan: what weaknesses are that? can be interesting to know so I don't make silly mistakes.

No chance you would do that, but to clarify what I was referring to: Some people tend to just convert the legs and torso and then stick normal/puny arms and shoulder pads on their TS marines. So in general I was referring to balancing the overall physique properly, which you did and most people don't.

@ Imperial Monkey: You know, I don't remember. they might be from the SM attackbike kit or the scout bikers.

Attack bike, great little bit. The scout bike only has a holstered shotgun, which is also great.

Oh come now, it's not that good. I'm just winging it here. I don't even know what I am gonna use them for, a friend said that 16 of them (the amount I have parts for) and a dread is almost a whole draigowing if I run them as paladins.. but I dunno.. the GK's make me feel a bit.. dirty.
I could handle a henchmen army without 'em silver-boyz but a draigo-wing? no.. no wai!

I'll probably just pawn them off on someone who wants them. Or put them in a box somewhere for a rainy day. this is more of a hobby project for the converting, painting and gs-skill traing rather than that they should acctually be used for something.
