Well guys at long last the first wave of the HelsVakt Expansion are up for pre-order. Believe me I have been just as anxious to get these out as you guys have been to have them available. This has been a REALLY logn road and I am very glad to be within reach of the ( hopefully ) happy end of it. There is still much much more in store; modular hordesmen, Shield maidens, Archers, characters and yes of course CAVALRY!!! I really hope you guys like what I have ready thus far.

Without further fuss...............

BEHOLD YRSA THE ACCURSED!!!! Available as both an unlimted metal and VERY limited ( 200 copies ) resin edition ( direct order only ).

NETHER BEAST!!!!! This is just one of three currently in the works. LOVE makign these things!

The Great and Mighty Belegast the Bloodthristy, Veteran Lord of Hel's Legions he is feared far and wide. The PERFECT figure to lead your armies of Doom through the Great Apocalyptic War Saga!! Available as both unlimited metal and VERY limited ( 200 copies ) resin edition ( direct order exclusive )

Fenris Wolf God, Keeper of the Old Pact, Howling Lord of the Wild Hunt.

The Gynnade Krigare, the elite footmen of Hel's Legions. They burn with menace and hunger for the Fray. Modularly fitted for universally interchangeable heads, right and left hands. There are 2 packs a 5 pack and a 10 pack.

Varp Krigare!! Beware the fell rage of the Warp Warriors. Touched by Hel's madness and bestowed the gift of the spasm these warriors are feared by all and given wide berth by even the Hel's Legions themselves! In their fits of vulgar rage they slay foe and friend alike heedless of any notion but their thirst for carnage.

These are available as a pack of 4 figures with 2 weapon sprues ( each containing 3 weapons ) or separately as individual models.

Well hey, someone actually made a nude male model!

At least it all looks amazingly sculpted! Bravo, I say, Bravo!

Do I see a hint of envy in you chowder_ . In all seriousness well done on these.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Yesterday I visited your website thinking "Wasn't he going to release some new tought guys?" and BAM here they are. And they are not alone, that's a huge batch of new stuff for a single sculptor LOL

I'm not very interested about the beasts right now, but all the minis look great. The new Yrsa is awesome, and so are the big guys (they're all big this time xD).

I can see myself adding Yrsa and Belegast to my next order, when I make it

Those are wonderful minis, I've been meaning to get Yrsa for a while and those beasts have plenty of character - great work, hopefully I can afford to buy some soon

Belegast looks great, but I am just wondering if his sheild is separate or is part of the whole miniature?

Love your work thus far, and I think both Yrsa and Belegast will have to be mine.

Those netherbeasts look great, I wonder if you'll be making optional 'armoured legs with saddle' for the variants you're making...?

I was JUST about to post asking if where you had vanished to.

These all look great. As a painter am I going to notice a dramatic difference in detail and casting quality between the resin and metal versions of models?

Do you have a (rough) time line on the other Helsvakt stuff that you're working on?

Fenriswulf wrote:Belegast looks great, but I am just wondering if his sheild is separate or is part of the whole miniature?

Attached I think. I believe I asked Tre this in a previous thread.

Thanks guys!

yeh I figured there is onyl one right way to sculpt a berserker.

Belegast's shield is integral to the figure.

There is definitley a difference in the fidelity of detail between the resins and metals we are not talking night and day but it is noticeable. Resins are as close to the original as is possibel to achieve. I wish like hell I could afford to just switch over to resin entirely but as you can tell by GW's Finecast and AOW's Warcast there are still bugs to be worked out of the processes. As the process stands now it is slow and expensive.

Very nice work.

Clearly, those hulking beasts are already well armed with clubs. I don't think they need that weapons sprue.

Cheers guys!

Pfft. Like I went to the site before asking.

May be too small for what I was planning, unfortunately.

I'm getting a 'Rackham' vibe from these scuplts, which is a complement because their models where, IMHO, the best on the market.
Good luck (& does anyone stock you in the UK?)

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I've ordered from Tre before, to Ireland, and the shipping costs were very reasonable. Have a look at his site, it's quite cheap to order.

I didn't know that store. Searching the website I've seen it's in Barcelona, wich is not exactly close to me :( And the website is under construction, so they don't have an online store by the moment. I'll be using your website, meanwhile ^^

Thanks a lot!
