So this weekend I have two back to back 500 pt combat patrol games followed by a 1500 pt game for an escalation league. So I'm up between two lists... The rules are: no models with more than 3 wounds, no models with a 2 plus save of any kind, no vehicles with any side armor more than 12 (quantum shielding counts as 13), 0-1 hq/elite/fast, 1-4 troops. So here's the lists:

List 1
Overlord - scythe
Court: 4x hod, 1x veiltek
5x warriors
5x warriors
5x warriors
(Thinking of subbing in a second lord in place of one warrior squad)

List 2
Destroyer lord - scythe, mss
5x warriors
5x warriors
5x immortals w/ tesla
9x scarabs

Thoughts...? One mission is to get to the opponents deployment zone with a troop, next mission is deep striking objectives. A tabling is an instant win. I do not have wraiths either. Thanks!

The overlords have 3 wounds? I thought you couldn't do that.

In your first list, what about Tesla immortals to go with the veiltek and Overlord rather than warriors? You'll be able to vod then shoot from further.

If you can't take the overlord, then immortals and scarabs would be my choice.

I like list two more, but I would consider Immortals over warriors.

in your first list your actually illegal, you may only have one Harbinger of a specific type per royal court.

Overlords only have 3 wounds, I really would love some immortals... But id have to cut 1 hod to fit em, and veil is basically there so I can complete the objectuve last second. Of course, I can cut the veil, one warriors, throw in 7 immortals and a different tek for the same cost.

I'm on the fence, mostly cause I know a guys running wraiths, and others have genestealers, etc. That more firepower I feel would be better against

Actually, with only a single court, you can't attach more than 1 cryptek per squad. That would give you points to upgrade to immortals. And potentially some scarabs

Not sure whether with one court you can attach a lord and a cryptek?

I was atually gonna keep the teks as a unit unto themselves with the lord there to soak up bullets, unless my foe has more vehciles, id split 2 hods off to warrior squads and the veil to the last.
