Couple of suggestions to consider. From practical experience, I suggest one of your warrior blobs need a phaeron so they can move and shoot 24". Depends on how much you are planning to move them but shooting 12" is not great.

A ghost ark to replenish the warrior blobs might help, but you'd have to seriously rework to get that in, so see how you go playing it.

My main concern is that you haven't got very much to shield the blobs from CC. I have given up on warrior blobs in CC - basically they lose, and get swept.

Re the lychguard I'd personally go swords and boards, cos the invulnerable save makes them tougher to kill (and much joy when you bounce shots !). Normally I'd say the lychguard need more mobility, but I assume you are using them to shield the walking warriors?

The immortals are Tesla right?

You are a little light on AT (Anrakyr needs to be out of the barge to use mind in the machine). However, with that much gauss to play with - might work!

Well, the opponents I play against the most are Tau and Space Wolves, so against the space wolves (who are either all terminators, or thunderwolf based) I would spam shots at him as he got closer, using the warscythe unit to skill the dreadnoughts that he deep strikes and small squads he uses in the meantime.

Against the tau, I would use Anrakyr to fly around and (hopefully) pop a Hammerhead and drop some battlesuit units etc, while Obyron and the Lychguard teleport up and start tearing through the lines.

The main reasons that I wouldn't use a ghost ark are:
a) Transportability, or lack thereof.
b) Size, aka screw putting together and painted that up.

The CC lacking in the blobs is a good point, that I didn't really think about. But as I said before, only part of the time do I even verse CC orientated armies, and even then, theres ways for me to get around it.

I was thinking of magnetising their arms to swap them out and to be able to try both loadouts to see which are better. But the main reasons for choosing warscythes was to have the same stuff as the lord and obyron in the unit, to be able to drop vehicles in CC, and to be able to take out tough CC units slightly easier. And no, I was not going to use them to shield the walking warriors.

I was gonna use the Immortals as Gauss, but if you think Tesla is better then I'll use that then.

As for lacking AT, I addressed those ussues earlier (with the warscythe lychguard, CC barge etc) Plus I have the two crypteks which could possibly take out a vehicle a turn, and at 2k pts I have the stalker too.

Fair enough, at least you have a plan! Re the warscythes, imho a couple are enough to kill just about any tank I can think of, which is why I use swords and boards. The swords are still power weapons so ignore armor saves and the invul save helps lots.

Yeah, I agree that they are a good loadout too. Thats why I'll try them both out.
