Started trying to get my daemons painted up fully so ive decided to go for a tabletop standard for them to begin with, so, here it is:











C&C welcome as allways, was simply aiming for tabletop standard so i can turn out a nuit of 6 in a day or so.

I didn't know what to expect when i saw 'test colourscheme'.

I like the flamer. The horror looks pretty nice but what color is it? Pink?

Just started on the other 5 from the unit now.
Happy with the result of the 1st one, so going with that colour scheme.

amazing! I've always liked the daemon models and how they paint up I've got a squad of Horrors inbound soon, might have to think about doing something similar as it looks awesome

The horror was just painted with silver then everything else was just layered washes, so a 20 min paint job.

Wow you got that from mostly washes! damn fine job!

Black basecoat.
Paint the whole thing mithril silver.

Skin: Wash twice with leviathan purple.
Metal: Wash twice with gryphon sepia.
Tongue: Wash twice with baal red.
Eyes: Wash twice with thrakka green.
Teeth: Wash with badab black then highlight silver again.

And for the horrows that have fire on them:

Paint the fire tausept ochre.
Baal red wash over 70% of it.
Baal red wash over 50% of it.
Baal red wash over 30% of it.

That gives it a randomly nice blend from yellow to red.

haha tidy i dont have even half those washes but looks like I may be doing some shopping before they come lol

I've been trying to get a good colour scheme for horrors for a while and am yet to be succesfull. Yours looks effective and easy to replicate, i'll definately give it a go.

Nicely painted flamer aswell by the way
