New member to this site - long time warhammer + 40k player. Currently I'm finishing up my Night Lords and Beastmen armies and want to start up a Lamenters force. Im really into the lore of the universes (especially 40k) and am a gamer as well. Currently I'm working on improving my painting skills. Apart from that I've had an account on Warseer for a while but I've always seen DakkaDakka and figured I may as well join this ship.

If you haven't figured it out by my signature I'm a big fan of Orks, and Night Lords (among other forces I also admire) and recently I think I've fallen in love with Lamenters, and really wanna make a showcase army with them. The checker pattern seems a bit tricky, perhaps someone may even have some guide or knowledge to painting it? Regarding lore I know about all about 40k and its races and have a bit of fantasy knowledge; I've read a bunch of Horus Heresy books and Gotrek and Felix - presently reading Soul Hunter and The Word Bearers omnibus.

However I'm not just a Warhammer nut I'm also into heavy metal (especially viking and hair metal LOL) and into various art and history, though I doubt anyone gives a gak for that.
