Wow. Very well done. Deathwing has always been one of my favorite space marine schemes.

Same here. I used to have a small Deathwing army, but sold it. Very nice Dread, great metal on the leg, and overall has great cleanness.

Very clean paint job! Great job!

I do mine much more bone-colored so seeing Deathwing so "white" is cool! (And harkens back to ye olde days of Deathwing)

thank you! its really not that hard i use boltgun metal, wash it with badab black( lots of, so the metal gets dark and dull) and highlight it with mithril silver. you can also put some devlan mud wash after the badab black to give it a dirty/old look.

I love seeing the orginial DA Terminators. You did the models justice with nice, sharp, clean lines, painting, and basing.

On a completely off topic note~ I never understood why the terminators have combat blades on them. I've got this big fist which is energized and punches through walls, but I stab at thee with this tooth pick !

Nice job on the paints

both the dread and the termies look really great! would you mind telling me how you did the shading? was it base coat -> wash -> touch up -> highlight or some other process? it looks so clean and it's something I struggle with...

cheers!

well, i also struggled with it a lot ...i actually painted it bleached bone, washed it with devlan mud and highlighted it with white. the problem is that devlan mud will make it look dirty, so you have to put on another layer of bleached bone just leaving the shade in the corners. when you put on the white, thin it down with some water(~2parts white to 1 part water) to get a good transition(you can also do this with the second layer of bleached bone for the transition to the devlan mud) repeat it several times to increase the coverage of the white. be patient and dont put on too much color. let me know if this works for you

Nice work. Nice and clean. I do mine more from the story about how they got white armor, mine not so clean. Beautiful work and you should be proud of it.
