Hey guys, DefeatMyArmy came by the shop wanting to get a game in to try out his new idea for a Cron list. It is a really unconventional army, definitely interesting to see how it works.

Keno's Grey Knights are a WIP, so sorry for the unpainted stuff.

Enjoy the battle!

(To mirror my comment on your website...) Flayed Ones make a great anvil to the Wraiths’ hammer. Definitely an underrated unit (primarily by people who theoryhammer them out of viability without ever having seen them on the tabletop, it would seem). If Sweeping Advance becomes less deadly for Necrons in 6th, I think more people will gain the cojones necessary to run them.

I totally agree. The only times I have used them, they worked well for me. They tarpit well and with weight of numbers, can kick booty. Like you said, if they don't get run down so easily next edition, they could be really awesome.

I really like that combo Dan uses to get the giant unit up-field quickly. That would work well for Lychguard, too!

Id like to see that wraithwing vs one of your lists reece or jy's lists; sad to say, but that gk list wasn't exactly "competative" material. Lacked the oompf that other gk cheese brings

Yeah, Keno isn't a competitive player really, he's all about theme. He is a good player though. Dan plays competitively though, and challenged my nids with that list so we'll see how it goes.

I think my steelers will walk through those flayed ones, to be honest.

Fnp stealers vs flayed ones.... Yep, gg. Honestly I highly look forward to that one reece; I'm aching for some nid battle reps. Id do my own but need to get rid of these marines... Hah

That list was actually a test run, but a very successful one at that. Flayed ones obviously get wrecked by stealers, but I have some counter measures planned. Whether they work or not well...we'll just have to wait and see. Now that I got it down, depending on how many pts Reece wants to play I have 2 lists so far I think can compete with him. My army is definitely going to be outassualted so I have to rely on luck and some assasination tactics. I know 'Nids and Orks are going to be the 2 armies I have to beat, and who better to help me practice against them? If we practice for the Golden Throne I was thinking of running this:

Tesla CCB Lord w/ warscythe

Harbringer of Destruciton with solar pulse

5 warriors in a night scythe

5 warriors

12 flayed ones

11 flayed ones

3X 6 wraiths- particle caster 3 whip coils

Chaos daemons 1850
Chaos Marines 1850
2250+

2500++ (Wraithwing)

I moved so starting from scratch. These were the armies I had, rebuilding my Chaos.

Stealers will walk through them and hive guard will wreck his scythe shenanigans or scythanigans.

@Defeat

Your army isn't very balanced with just 2 troop choices. I'd recommend dropping some FO's or wraiths even for at least 1 more unit of troops.

Good luck in the game against Reece. If he beats you with his nids, they're going to be known as the wraithkillers. They've already killed mine.

The Wraithkillers! Hahah, I like that!

@Dan

You can pick the points level buddy, it's all good for me. If you want to practice for the Golden Throne, that works.

It's time to test out the list I'm bringing to golden throne vs Reece or another team zero comp today. Im just going to be stubborn and take it no matter wrenches 6th throws in its gears. Those stealers are gonna be a big problem...

Obyron
20 flayed ones
2x 5 warrior night scythe
3x 6 wraiths 3 coils
