So as the title stated, do other guard regiments use ogryn? I can see the Dkok and catachan using them but not steel legion and elysian.

There are thousands of regiments in the IG. Some of which are made up of abhumans as a core.
As it were the Catachans and the DKoK are the only ones with models I can think of that would routinely use them, maybe the Cadians.

Why would you guys think that DKoK would routinelly use them? It would actually be EXTREMELY unlikely for them to use them.
All regiments CAN use them if you write your fluff that way (regiments are combined, attached for long periods of time because they simply were in the area, etc..) but a few are more likely to be seen with them.
Cadians are so numerous that they are likely, Catachans warfare style greatly benifits from the Ogryns being very simliar.
Steel Legion, Elysian, Tallaran, Moridian, and DKoK all have conflicting doctrines of Ogryns (try telling a force of Ogryns to defend a trench network, and good luck trying to phyiscally move past them if you need to redeploy a squad somewhere.)

Defiantly in agreement that many regiments have too much of a conflict with their doctrines. Of the gw ones, I would say that only the Cadians and catachans would use them at all.
But there are millions if not billions of regiments in the guard. So to say they are restricted to two worlds of regiments would be vastly understating their use.
In short, no one really knows a number

Abhuman regiments, such as Ogryns and Ratlings are auxilary regiments. This means they are shipped to where ever they are needed. Some regiments would not use them due to their combat style does not lend to their use.
With Catachan armies most Ogryns will be natives of Catachans, most likely from Ogryns attached to Catachan regiments that found the planet to be a nice place.

On the other hand, sneak them across no man's land at night and let them loose in the enemy's trench or let them lead the way in a push across no man's land. Ogryns are extremely loyal, follow orders to the letter and have complete faith in the Emperor, they seem like they would get along swimmingly with the DKoK.

The fact that the death korps of krieg has Ogryn models made specifically for it shows that they use them in some capacity, likely as how Mad Tanker describes them.
The image of a Praetorian Ogryn is so funny however, that I demand to see a model of it and a short story about an Ogryn talking in an upper class londoner accent and bashing in the faces of the enemies of the Imperium for interrupting teatime.

Uhhh...no they don't. There haven't been any Death Korp of Krieg Ogryn models.
There's the Plague Ogryn and Ogryn Berzerkers, but they were both "created" from the Ogryn work population.

Yes, but the Krieg PDF says otherwise, and most of their fluff don't mention Ogryns at all.
Edit: Those Ogryns are chaos followers, who are just told their enemies are the Chaos followers ( IIRC), and and they're pumped full of drugs as well.

I can't see the Death Korp using Ogryns for two reasons;
1. They can't rely on them to hold their ground in the same way the Korpsmen will.
2. Ogryns won't easily fit into the trenches.
They'd be terrible trench raiders - they'd be seen/heard long before they get to the enemy trenchline - they're very tall and extremely bulky whilst they have as much sense as an...as a... Ogryn. I can imagine one of them grunting an "Ouch!" as their leg finds a discard bayonet and the Bone 'Ead twisting round and retorting, in a parade ground voice, with "Shhh! Da Commissar said we woz to be quiet!" Cue gunfire, mayhem and probably some dead Ogryns.

Still, they are highly effective assault troops. I can imagine them being kept towards the rear and being snuck forward just before a large offensive.

Oh they would be highly effective assault troops, thats why im not saying it is impossible, but for the most part, they conflict with the Krieg system too much. Not impossible, just unlikely

Ogryn are native to a selection of Imperial Planets where they evolved due to the harsh environment.
Small populations will be scattered about the galaxy where they were transplanted over the years.
Ogryns are basically recruited and put into an Ogryn regiment. These regiments then get shipped where ever they are needed. Squads get divided out as support teams for other human regiments that need some heavy shock troops.

Any IG force can use Ogryns and have it be "fluffy", though official army lists from FW or whatever is another story.

Ogryns would be fantastic for trench warfare. Easily entertained, loyal and very strong. Perfect for setting up a trench line and stamping on the faces of those who try to crash the party.
