I've seen many choices, but I like BBB (Big Beige Book), the best

Others I've seen are BGB (green). Other options?

I agree. But whenever anyone says "Let me get the BOB" they must say it like Blackadder.

The main rulebook can still be summised as "BRB" - Big Rule Book. It will likely stay the same.

I hear BOB I think Marathon trilogy, BOB = Born On Board. Which means every time someone says BOB, I will hear "Frog blast the vent core!"

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

I love Atkinson's works. but Mr. Bean and the Thin Blue line were my favorites.

Adam's Motto: Paint, Create, Play, but above all, have fun. -and for something silly below-

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.

I don't like BOB, it just has nothing to do with the book itself, I personaly think 3B, tripB, or the BBB is the best, it is actually 6th edition specific, unlike BOB, which could be used for any edition. Also, BOB won't be compatible with the miniature books.

BOB = Big 'ole Book = full sized rulebook
bob = Baby 'ole Book = small sized rulebook

Well you get the drift, does it matter to call the new AOBR BOB something different? Maybe SBOB for starter big ole book.

We love what we love. Reason does not enter into it. In many ways, unwise love is the truest love. Anyone can love a thing because. That's as easy as putting a penny in your pocket. But to love something despite. To know the flaws and love them too. That is rare and pure and perfect.

How bout we call it "TOOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWP" (That One Book That Everyone In News And Rumors Forum Is Crying About How Unfair It Is Even Though They Havn't Read It Yet And Can't See The Whole Picture). I think that will be easiest to remember, it sounds German so thats a plus.

The bonus is it would work for all of the new books that come out after it. Maybe to break it up a bit TOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWPVI. The following being TOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWPVII, TOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWPVII, TOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWPVIII, TOBTEINARFICAHUIIETTHRIYACSTWPIX and so on.
