The only problem with the metal meltas is that I will still need to find arms to use...and could you post a pic or two of the shotgun meltas?

Get a scout bolter, cut off the strap, clip and half of the barrel. Attach a cotton bud end to the barrel (add greenstuff texture for the vents if you want), and a smaller drum for the fuel cell. The cable's optional, but can be made from things like the tubing off of a Chaos Space Marine fuelpack. If you just google search meltagun conversion you'll find plenty of examples....

I just chopped off a pistol and had him pointing it one handed.

I used a plasic melta from the Tac box, and the arms from the Scout Heavy Bolter:

Small piece of sprue trimmed to shape on top to form the base of the foreward handgrip.

Oooh, nice conversion. Although I still don't like the new plastics as much as the old guy metals.

Yes, they scale perfectly well.

As much crap as GWS gets for their prices, 5 meltaguns for $8 is actually a pretty good deal.

I didn't want to post a new topic so I'll just ask here.

I'm looking for an advice. i wanted to arm 5 of my space wolf scouts with meltas and I've bought the bitz at Games Workshop store. The problem I came by is how do I make my scouts weild the meltas in both hands if there's no left hand (the one supporting the gun) in SM Scouts box. Any ideas? Can they hold it in one hand and a ccw (bayonette?) in another? Won't this break the rules?

I'm pretty new to modelling and never had to make a conversion of any sort.

Oh and since this is my first post on this forums (altho I visit it very often and have for a long time now) I wanted to say hello to everyone!
