We'll find out when the rulebook is released.......
...rumours are its for all heavy weapons.
I've a hundred and one questions I want answered about the 6th edition. I know I'll definitely get correct the answer from the rulebook when it is released in only a few days now rather than on the internetz
It's only a few more days people!!!!!!

I can wait, I had read somewhere about it and was wondering if we solid info on it. It would make sense they could since a mission requires heavy support to claim an objective.

The reddit guy claims if you move heavy weapons they cannot shoot normally but can make a snapfire attempt. This reduces you to BS 1 but fire as normal otherwise. If you can then use the Devastator Sergeant to make 1 guy BS 2 if he doesn't fire I don't know, still gives a slight chance to do something if you move regardless.

Ah ok that sounds legit. I might have to figure out how to claim obj with a heavy unit some other way besides traditional walking or riding if the vehicle is alive still
