Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

They look pretty darn awesome!
I especially like the specialized bolters

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

where did you find thos alternative backpacks? The ones featured in the 4th picture. Nice work....the marines looks ....well.....really metallic. They also have a nice weathered/worn look to them.

Nice looking Silver Skulls! I'd say those backpacks are from Forge World.

I'd give them black bolters of something just to break up the color a little.

But yeah, looks good for a basic (by fluff) Marine scheme!

The backpacks are from forgeworld. You get them with the heavy weapons.

I am glad you are liking the models I do have to inform that silver bolters will remain tho

I now have a whole finished tactical squad and drop pod. Here are the pics for you

and the last squad member on his own.

Thanks guys

Overall a great job! I think the bases are a little plain, however. If they were broken up with a few larger rocks, possibly some battlefield debris, it would really add alot to the look.

I may add to bases at a later date but not untill the army is playable

I like the metal technique. I like the "hey, I am gonna shoot that!" pointy lascannon guy.

The C3PO Leg and the super backpack tech marines are nice too.

Thanks every one I am happy to see you like them so far. Here is something else for your eyes.

Decided to have a marine who has been in the deathwatch just to add a little more character to the army.

This dude took a while. I am glad I dont have to paint anymore like it.

I dunno, I somehow feel like they need more SKULLZ, and maybe more SILVER

Seriously, nice work. Hard to make such a simple scheme interesting, but you've done a good job with choice of bits, conversions, and painting details to make the overall job interesting. Keep up the good work!

Thanks buddy Have not done much the last couple of weeks as I have had a lot of other things to do. I have now finished the stormtalon though and here are some pics for you.

Great conversion skills on show here, well done.
I do like the way the bolters look, and think you should keep them silver - but also agree that they could do with standing out a bit more. Have you considered using a brighter silver, or putting some hefty highlights on them?

Came back again to see your progress. Everything is still looking great. Your Stormtalon conversion is reminiscent of that flying ship from the Terminator . Your detail work is sharp and crisp and definitely breaks up the metallic well. All the work looks great.....except I find it a little ironic that the majority of the skulls on your models are painted in a bronze/copper instead of ....well...you know....silver

Hey super. I dont want to add more shades of silver to the boltguns or any part of the models as I dont like the way it looks. Lighter silvers often look tacky if that makes sense? I am going to throw in the odd black or red bolter to mix it up a bit.

Im glad you like the storm talon. I see what you mean about the terminator ship. Totally unintentional but awesome now you have pointed it out

Got a few more marine for you guys today.

I really like your Drop Pod. It's very crisp and striking. I have to admit to not being a huge fan of the chainsaw bayonets, but it isn't a you thing, I never liked those. Your color scheme is nice and barren. It's got a very bleak look that makes the details pop very well, by stripping out unnecessary distractions for the eye. Very good work indeed.

Great job representing the Silver Skulls! I really really like the multi-melta techmarine!

Thanks everyone I am very happy to hear everyone enjoyin the skulls.

The chainsaws. I love them myself and as I am trying to make lots of unique marines they gave me some extra parts to work with and an excuse to do some blood I know they are not every ones cup of tea though.

The wings on the talon are from a forgeworld caestus assault ram. I cut the stubby ends off and used them to bulk up my talon. I intend to get an assault ram for it to fly about with so I thought it would look cool if it looked similar to what it was protecting not that those rams need protecting.

also happy to see you like the techmarine. He is just used as a marine with a multi melta but again gave me some room to fit cool little bits into the army.

I am now working on an ironclad dreadnought. Will hopefully have it done within the next few days maybe a week tops
