i'm honestly not sure what to think about DE in 6th.

I was pleasantly surprised to see we are battle brothers with eldar though.

I was thinking about six war walkers with scatter lasers.

Your list looks fine, why the massive units of warriors on the ground though?
None of the vehicle nerfs in 6e have talked me out of bringing 7 or 8 venoms. Flicker fields are a little less useful, but, splinter cannons are only going to get better.

I'd love to hear whether the list works out. Good luck.

Well I have a horrid time with my skimmers, I can't make cover saves to save my life and as I understand it 1 bolter round can potentially wreck a skimmer. Now that wasn't different before but now its auto wreck with the hull point system atleast in 5th i could win out on no shooting for a turn. Honestly I could run some venoms I'll have to redo some things but I feel with the snap fire rules the grounded warriors could be better. I had thought about adding 3 war walkers but decided on 1 because I wanted another pathfinder unit and some scorpians for assaults.

Also you can only have 1 HQ elite fast and HS for allied atachments.

Your cover saves now do what flickerfields did for us in 5th so long as you remember to move the vehicle. I'd take the points saved on flickerfields and put them in nightshields. Your spending the same amount of points as before but you're getting both benefits.

I personally don't really see the big blocks of warriors accomplishing very much. Your razorwings and venoms already give anti infantry and DE warriors are like wet noodles in combat.

If you're going to go the eldar route. go ahead and take eldrad. He's awesome and much better than a standard farseer. Rangers and Scorpions were never really that good in 5th and that also carried over to 6th. Perhaps try dropping the scorpions for some fire dragons and the rangers for some avengers. Also, Walkers are awesome, but only in large numbers. Take a full squad if you can.

Now that all skimmers get 5+ for moving 3 vypers in a squad looks awesome.

Not sure how the blocks of warriors will go. As already said I think the DE skimmers can still be good, you save the 10pts on FF and grab NS.

I think if I was going to team up eldar with my DE Id go with making some sort of a harlie army, theyre pretty good now.

Dark Eldar- 1500pts Completed
Grey Knights- 1500pts 1 Guy done
Chaos Daemons- Approx 5000pts
Slaanesh Daemons- 1500pts, in progress
Khorne Daemons- 1500pts, in progress
Death Korps of Krieg- Plans being formulated.
---------------------------------------------------
High Elves- Approx 2000pts
Vampire Counts- Raising the dead once more
