I don't think the latter needed any context, that's just called storytelling without dumbing down.

To be honest, when they express a fluff need, I found them to be rather helpful, when they express a desire by the player that can be sent out as a whole. Also looks quite characterful, especially for Imperial forces.

What's the issue with including the transmission there? It seems to fit.
I'm just curious if this is a thing we can't do due to plot, or aesthetics.

I think it'd be a hassle for people to have to PM someone else to do a paragraphs worth of writing. IE BC did a small update asking for a psyker to be loaned to him, and I don't see the benefit of someone else having to be included for something so small.

Speaking of which, I wonder what Mordos is doing right now in the crusade. I'm pretty sure the RT stole him.

Well I'm not sure "stole" is true, so much as not having had an opportunity to return him.

In my head, he's currently sedating Marcus to stop him pitching a blue fit in the cargo bay.

I was jesting, and technically there wasn't a due date on when Detta wanted Mordos back. And I don't think Mordos will have problems with being around House Fairfax for awhile. There's definitely a lot less of a chance of getting shot at then with an Imperial Guard regiment.

Ok. So part two of the Knight intro will be the duel itself. I hope to have my Knights meet up with every other Imperial player's forces. Is everyone sending a representative to the duel? (I figure an invitation or something like that would be extended so all the commanders could meet)

I think that my Kroot would only send in Ta'lok, because he doesn't know how many Imperials won't draw their guns on him upon seeing him though. I'd request him bringing his kroothound, Mal'caor, with him, but I fear that'd be overstepping some boundaries.

So, I just wrote this, and I like it better than anything I had written on the guard, sorry Imperials, I'm going with daddy N.

Crion, a world and two moons plagued by the living. Their very existance corrupted the universe, their loyalty to a half-decayed corpse kept alive by the deaths of others a declaration of their intention to keep the universe in its actual state of perpetual suffering and injustice.
Of course, they had never been given a choice, but now they would. The Purge had arrived to Crion.

I'll send a PM to chazz or TS to notify my turncoating.

As to what to expect, ever played Hydrophobia? Think the bad guys. If you haven't played Hydrophobia, go play it, its good.

Just to clarify, that isn't my intro, but I lilke it a lot, for some reason I can't understand.

Whenever you can get them to me is fine. I'm going to be working on part two of the intro over the next few weeks while I wait for COF 1 to wrap up. Just an idea of who you're sending, anything special or unique about them (i.e. does your commander have unique weapons, armor, or other equipment), and in general how your commander would react around an Imperial Knight (the High Queen of my House)

aldo wrote:I didn't actually know my commander had been invited to an important social event, but if I don't end up going all Kay-oss the damned Prussian will show up.

I'd be including all the other Imperial players

Possibly the hound is a step too far if you're looking to make alliances rather than be seen as an oddity.
But if you were in the vicinity of the Admech and RT, anyone shooting you would be extremely short lived. I hadn't realised but I very much underplayed Fairfax's social role last crusade.

Warrant of Trade:
It should be noted that although Rogue Traders are shipmasters who travel the vastness of space, their authority to do so comes not from a Merchant Charter, but rather a letter of appointment that elevates them to the authority equalling Space Marine Chapter Masters, Inquisitors and Planetary Governors.
Some of the more ancient ones are dated from the very beginnings of the Imperium, and some were even signed by the Emperor himself. Others were signed by Primarchs or other leaders of the Great Crusade.

So shooting his accomplices would be a minor social suicide, even if I'm not pushy.

I'm sure Ta'lok would sit back and just watch for most of the meeting, to get a feel for how the Imperials work and how they react to his appearance. He's testing them more than anything, and definitely isn't going to be getting into people's faces or anything.

Him and Selka should just go people-watching. Neither are exactly high imperial society fans.
