Here is what I run at 2500pts in my Tzeentch army:
Sorcerer Lord, Level 4 MoT, Disc, Enchanted Shield, Golden Eye of Tzeentch, Infernal Puppet, Bloodcurdling Roar, Stream of Corruption- 405pts
Exalted Hero, BSB, MoT, Charmed Shield, Talisman of Preservation- 195pts
23 Warriors, MoT, Shields, Banner, Musician, Razor Standard- 451pts
18 Warriors, MoT, Shields, Halberds, Banner, Musician, Banner of Rage- 379pts
5 Warhounds- 30pts
5 Warhounds- 30pts
5 Warhounds- 30pts
12 Knights, MoT, Musician, Blasted Standard- 570pts
Hellcannon- 205pts
Hellcannon- 205pts
Pretty standard stuff. Personal favorite is the Knights with the blasted standard. They will highhandedly win you games against gunline armies.
Some other popular Tzeentch unit/character builds:
-Chaos Lord, MoT, Disc, Talisman of Preservation, Crown of Command, Enchanted Shield, Biting Blade, Roar or Stream- 360pts
Our version of the DE peg lord but hits harder and is tougher
-18 Chaos Chosen, MoT, Halberds, Shields, FC, Wailing Banner, Favor of the Gods- 485pts
IF you are unfamiliar with how these guys work, with the terror banner and favor of the gods, they can reroll any result on their start game eye of the gods roll except 4 or 5, with your goal of rolling 11 or 12 for a 3+ ward and stubborn. After you get that, you are pretty much untouchable to anything except skaven 13th spell. If you dont get the roll at the start of the game, take dual warshrines to guarentee the 3+ ward
Chaos Warshrine, MoT- 150pts
Cheap and great unit buffer. Great monster tarpitter on the fly with a 3+ ward save. Take 2 with chosen unit
I would steer clear of Marauders with a MoT army. They don't really shine unless you give them Great weapons and MoK.
