So far just 2 rules I think desperately need a FAQ or some sort of constructive debate anyway as I got called out on them and didn't even know I broke them but really feel like needs to be changed or augmented somehow.
#1 Shadow Skies - Currently the shadow skies rule does not work unless you go flat out as written in our codex and there's no specific update so you can't just go 12' and shadow skies. You have to forgo your shooting apparently to do this since it requires flatout which is now a shooting phase event rather than a moving phase event. I'm hoping this gets errata'ed or fixed somehow as the blood angel's codex FAQ has corrected this problem for skies of blood. I'm guessing GW just forgot or they don't like grey knights fliers somehow. *someone at my last game pointed this out to me and I thought he was doing TFG thing but then he also points out that the GK and BA storm ravens can take different kinds of wargear, and special abilities and that they do not necessarily have to match eachother so the rules don't just transfer over*
#2 Crowe and Brother hood champion - They are supposed to be the bad ass swordsmen from the GK chapter yet their "The Perfect Warrior" has some major flaws now come 6th edition especially with challenges. I'd figure their fluff would make them very good dualists but in fact they are completely broken. Challenges makes it that only the challenger is considered to be in B2B, everyone else just stands by and cheers/watches.
Sword storm only then gets you a single attack. Blade shield still works the same I suppose as you aren't attacking and just tarpitting. but when I tried to Rapier strike a lowly Nob with a power fist I can't hit him.... He's just a character and not an independent character. The FAQ does not address this at all. As far as the RAW is written, the most I can do is put one wound on him from the sword storm (if I even wound that is) and I'll end up eating a power claw to the iron halo. Is this really how it's supposed to be?
The big book still keeps IC's different than characters so I can't really argue that it's supposed to work against them since the RAW in the codex is very specific. Glaring error or as intended?

For #1 just use the FAQ for Skies of Blood. They are really the same rule. I suspect no one will give any fuss. I'm certain it was an oversight on GWs part.

I agree with pdawg517, everyone I play with just uses the Skies of Blood FAQ rule for Shadow Skies.
For the Brotherhood Champion/Crowe problem, yeah it certainly seems to be that way. My hope is that Rapier Strike gets amended to say it strikes any characters or MC in base contact, not IC or MC.

I argued a similar case about the Valkyries Grav-Chute Insertion, and most of the people responded that RAW, I was supposed to make an out of sequence disembark in the shooting phase after the valkyrie went flat-out.

Even if GKs have to deep strike out on the shooting phase if the SR goes flat out, they can still shoot can't they?

Probably, they can shoot as if they disembarked, so treat as moving.

How is this a rule that has been broken? Sure, it's a rule you don't particularly like since you're biased towards your own army, but it's a well-defined rule.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

There's nothing mechanically broken with Perfect Warrior, it just has never been very good and remains bad. Arguably, the more dangerous bit is Challenge + heroic sacrifice. Charge into anything big and scary, and you can either keep it from fighting by challenge spamming, or if it fights, it takes the rather large risk of dying with the Champion. Being able to tarpit a big scary with a rerolled 3++ and then have a 2/3 chance of taking it with you when you die is pretty good for 100 points. THAT is where the badass is represented.

DE have a TON of crap that works against ICs(soul trap, Murderous Assault, Mindphase Gauntlets) that are next to useless because there are so few ICs out there. If they were changed to work on characters in challenges, or even better any character, they would be much much better.

I believe the nemesis sword helps out his iron halo. Although i'm not sure of the wording, since Brotherhood champion has an anointed sword.. But last i recall that meant it was a nemesis sword (+1 invul in cc) that also does rerolls.

This is right, its a nemesis force sword that rerolls wounds, so yay 3++ tarpit.

It was okish in 5e. You could pretty easily get up to 3 attacks with Sword Storm. Now, challenges have made Perfect Warrior a choice between single attack and no attacks.
It is telling when exchanging your "This model is super-awesome in CC" special rule for having base 2 attacks in profile would be good deal...

I can see where Brotherhood Champions [or Crowe] are Worthless
For 100 Points [Crowe 150 Points]
>WS-7 [Crowe: WS-8]
>2+/3++ Save [Crowe: 2+/4++ Save]
>NFS S-4 AP-3 [Crowe: S4 AP-, Rend 4+]
>Rapier Strike: 1d3 {1d3+1 on an Assault} I10 Attacks.
>Psyk-Out Grenades {Makes Daemons I-1}
Now for 115 Points
>Re-Roll a Wound: Digital Weapons.
>Possibly make it so your Opponent will not Attack: Empyrean Brain Mines
Yes they really Suck
Not for there points cost, the only thing that Sucks is that Crowe is not an IC.
