Has anyone else been getting severe lag for the past 2 days?
It takes me 4-5 attempts to log on, then I walk around, place a block, teleport back to where I started, the block disappears and then I getting a 'read timed out' kick-out.
Maybe it's my end, maybe not, but I hope that 1.7 seriously fixes SMP a lot...
As for pistons, I feel kind of meh as I haven't got enough iron +redstone to do any serious work with them (though I have got a cave system to clear out that is about lava lake level, so w00t!)
And that is why you hear people yelling FOR THE EMPEROR rather than FOR LOGICAL AND QUANTIFIABLE BASED DECISIONS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE MAJORITY!

I can't stand the squeaky "ahhh"s in those videos, so I muted it and turned on the Youtube BETA audio transcribed closed captions (speech recognition). It's much funnier. "microcomputer qualified pork chops" anyone?

cobblestone is different. the cracks are less dark, meaning they look a bit better. wood slabs also have the wood animation instead of stone.

If you try to push certain blocks (most of them non-solid) with a piston, your game will crash with the "Saving chunks.." screen, and the world will become corrupt.

If you look to my sig, you will see that I made the first Piston and Sticky Piston on the server.
I haven't tried using them yet though...

I have had the 'Better than Wolves' mod for ages, since 1.6.6, but I dont know whether to update to 1.7_01. Is it really worth it because I want to avoid it until all my mods are updated...
