Hope I don't lose my items from the crash or that's a stack of iron, a stack of redstone and about 20 pistons gone. Which means no more redstone fun for me for a while as it's all I've got...
No, it's to do with the area of the world, not who logs in. If you stay out it will still crash if someone goes to that part of the world. I'm gonna leave the server down for now while I investigate.

You can't retract powered pistons… This wrecks my plans for elevators and stuff :(.

Not mine, though it would allow them to be more compact.
Currently the one I'm working on lifts them up a block, pushes them onto another piston to push them up and then across again; repeating in a cycle. Takes up way too many resources and space at the moment though.
Seriously, shears kind of ruined the game. You can't make a bed without first having the ability to mine and smelt iron. That may not sound hard, but if it's your first couple days, you basically have to keep wandering back to your house from the spawn, rather than starting there. What a pain. And I played before beds reset the spawn. I remember how hard it was...
There's an error in the world save and I may have to roll back. I've swapped out the whitelist to stop people logging on while I confirm it. I'll put the whitelist back when the server is fixed.
