Will Khan make SW swift claw bikes troops? Also, can I combat squad a Space Marine codex bike squad that has say 7 SM bikers and 1 Wolf Gaurd Biker in it?

No to both questions because swiftclaws aren't part of the space marine codex so they don't benefit from khans bikes as troops, also wolf guard cant be joined to a space marine bike squad, it lists the units you can join in the space wolf codex, unless its a battle leader on a bike, then yes you can as he's an independent character

No, check the faq's, codex abilities are codex abilities, they don't transfer.

Ok thank you. Also does the attack bike in a SM squad count as one of the 8 in the unit or if I add an attack bike does it make 9?

The rule is not specific to Khan, any Space Marine Captain on a bike allows Space Marine bike squads of 5 models or more to be taken as troops. Since SWs have Swift Claws and not Space Marine Bike Squads I say no.

Edit:re-read the entry and flip-flopped on the issue.

OOO Did not know it was all bikes I might have to relook at the list. So the SW wolf guard is def. no and a maybe on swift claws being troops (conflicting answers)...anyone know the answer to the question about the attack bike?

does the attack bike in a SM squad count as one of the 8 in the unit or if I add an attack bike does it make 9?

An attack bike always counts as two models. This is reflected in their entry to have 2 wounds. You can only combat squad a bike squad taken at full strength (8 bikes and an attack bike). They split into combat squads with one squad having 5 bikes and one having 3 bikes and an attack bike.

Re-read my post. I flip flopped.

Got it thanks mate! Just need the clarification on swift laws being troops is all now since one person said yes an one said no.

I don't see anything in the fact about Kahn and transferring outflank to all bikes or about khan or captain making all bikes troops.
