Which is your favorite of the new psychic lores in 40k? I kinda like Telekenisis and Pyromancy

For me, divinity. Definite TL FRFSRF with possibility of rolling for a +4 invulnerable for a 52 man blob? Yes please.

You have to be lucky in your rolls to get that though. With divination you are going to get twin linked regardless, everything else is just candy. With pyromancy you're going to end up with an expensive flamer unit most of the time. However Spontaneous Combustion seems like it could be a hell of a lot of fun against orks/IG/everything with AP4+

It depends on the codex. Divination is amazing, yet so is telepathy. In fact, telepathy is far better from a skill standpoint. Biomancy is great if you got a melee army, pyromancy is decent and can buff an HQ or possibly curse an enemy unit, sadly telekenisis only has 1 power worth a damn.

Regarding tele, do you mean the 5++ save that reflects shots? The others just seem so short ranged and useless. Who wants a 12" blast that can scatter back onto you?

I mean the one that automatically causes haywire hits. That's an excellent one. The rest are meh.

Too bad chaos can't take biomancy since they like melee so much.

I`m liking biomancy myself for my blood angels

For Nids, which is usually where.I would give up.my Psychic Powers (Null Zone and GoI beats anything the SM can roll. In fact, 3 of their powers is in the book. And the standard C:SM VoD is better than the one in the book as VoD in SM.dex doesn't cost 2 warp points), Biomancy rocks.

Hive Tyrants have 2 powers.

Iron arm will make them immune to Str 3, and a 3+ will make them.immune to Str 4. A 5+ will mean the tyrant needs dedicated Heavy Weapons to take it down. And the Str to match.is nothing to scoff at niether.

Enfeeble is ok for Tyrants too. Used on Guardsmen it can.mean that those PF commissars now still.needs 6s to wound and the regular Guardsmen can't do squat. For MEQ it means the difference between life and (Instant) Death.

Endurance is pretty cool when combined with AS. It gives FNP and A 5+ Regen. This, combined with Regular regen and AS can.making taking.one down a bitch.

Leech Life is like a super version of Leech Essence, but always fires 2 shots and is Str 6. And you only get back 1 wound. Good, for light vehicle hunting due to AP2, and for stuff like HWS but best traded for Smite

Warp Speed is simply epic

Haemoragge is good on GEQ. If you roll a 5- you can choose the target. Provided the.model has a low Toughness, you could potentially snipe annoying Sgts who block your challenge.





All these are great. Smite, and Haemorrage would suck on Broodlords due to BS0 but otherwise good. I can't stress enough how awesome Iron Arm would be to DOOM OF MALANTAI! Now immune to ID vs Str 8 and even possibly 10! If you roll endyrance you can keep this guy in the fight with a 5+ regen and FNP, and Leech Life can do the same.

Zoabthrope choirs will be epic. Each Zoabthrope IIRC rolls seperate. Say you end up with Enfeeble, Haemoragge and keep the 3rd's Warp Blast and Warp Lance. Oh, and whatever else tmyou roll on the table for the other 2. Enfeeble and Haemorrage working together to pick out annoying Sgts and Leaders, followed by a nice Warp Blast to finish them.

BROODLORDS AT INT 10!! Possibility with Warp Speed.

It has it's uses. It's focused witchfire, so you choose the target. You can crush the heavy weapon in a squad, for example. I got lucky and crushed my friends Succubus, which also happened to be his warlord.

It's a shame. Have an unassembled Weirdboy I got from my last birthday, and was hoping for at least some sort of Pyromancy goodness :(

But out of the BRB psychic disciplines, I think Divination is the best (there isnt a single power you wouldnt want, and even then, the primaris power is absolutely awesome). Following that, probably Biomancy (good buffs), and Telepathy.
