Okay so my brother gave me some of his old IG stuff that are in a pretty rough shape.
So im gonna "restore" some of it starting with a chimera
the chimera missed a lascannon and had balsa wood on a side and the turret.
I took away the balsa wood and glued on a lascannon.

It looks like you have your work cut out for you. That chimera will take a bit to make it good. I like the Lasgun with the strip of Plasticard on it. It makes it look more boxy. How much IG stuff do you have so far?

So far i got three sentinels, five vostroyans and the chimera.
Im thinking about making an amfibian imperial guard army.

Apart from gluing on stuff four years ago and being occupied with my other 9 tanks and 300 infantry troopers? No idea.
And the disassembly my brother did wasn't exactly smooth and clean either.

Things happen. Everyone has models from years ago they could have done something different with. The cool part is the restoration of the models and seeing what can be done with them now.

Cant get photos up untill monday.
