Subject: The T-vectors - Resident evil meets 40k

Hello. I am new to Dakka Dakka, but has been working on a 40k resident evil blog on another forum for a good year now. I stumbled on a similar blog here on Dakka Dakka http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/224232.page and thought I wanted to share some of my pictures too .
The army is basically a chaos space marine nurgle army, with resident evil conversions. So far it consists of; El Gigante daemon prince, Albert Wesker chaos lord/sorcerer, Licker terminators, Chainsaw majini dreadnought, Las plagas plague marines (notice the champions) and G-Birkin summoned greater daemon. I am currently working to add a lot of zombies - they would be used as summoned lesser daemons.
Hope you enjoy the pictures. Comments and ideas for future conversions would be greatly appreciated!
My original blog can be found here, though it is in danish. www.powerfist.dk/forum/index.php?topic=44749.0

Thank you! Yeah cultists are probably the way to go, but I need a new codex for that

Looks great, and unlike many "reference" armies it fits very well with the 40k æsthetic. I especially like your Chaos Lord and your Dreadnought, and with regards to zombies I think you'll be pleased to see the upcoming Codex: Chaos-- rumor has it that both cultists and actual zombies make an appearance in the book!

Thank you sir, unfortunately the crazed dreadnought is rubbish gamewise
Actual zombies?? Wow that sounds awesome!

Coming from a person that has a rather large Resident Evil tattoo on his chest, I must say I couldn't love this army anymore. The licker termies are awesome and the Weskinator is so well done. Love it!

Thx alot! Its always a pleasure to hear from fellow believers
The zombies are now done - I think they came out very nicely! They are Victory Force Miniatures and, imo, a perfect match for the war torn universe of 40k. Enjoy!
Automatically Appended Next Post: And the army so far (around 2000 points now):

Blood Angel Terminator with Lightning Claws

Really inspiring thread. I will be starting a Nurgle army soon... its sidelined for the moment until i finish up my other projects. My only complaint, and I am really nitpicking here, is that the Terminators still have their terminator honors on their left shoulder pad. I will be converting some old 2nd ed era termies into nurgle termies so I have already thought out removal / deifialment of the imperial iconography.
But really good thread... I love the custom stuff and the greenstuff work.

Thank you so much guys - Im truly honored by your nice comments.
I agree that the crux terminatus should have been removed but in the end I never got around to do it. A nurgle army in old school armor sounds awesome though!
I hope to bring you more painted pictures soon. (just realised this part of the forum is not for WIP pictures ). My gaming club is running an Apocalypse battle in April and I really wanna bring my new toys
