Subject: Anung's "Resident Evil" army project (September: Lisa Trevor finished)

So, I already mentioned in this Thread that I always wanted to build a Resident Evil themed army. The original plan was to use the Lost and the Damned Codex, but you all know how that one turned out. Right now I'm building this army to fit the Apocalypse Z book from Battlefield Evolution, which you can check out here if you're interested
(Somebody has to explain this whole "insert url" thing to me)
Long story short, as you can see on the pics below, I already have a lot of Zombies, but now comes the fun part. I already build myself a Nemesis to use as the "Zombie Super Soldier", next up would be the "Zombie Overlord". Altough I can only field only one, no matter the size of the game, I already decided to build 2 different versions.
The first one would of course be this nice gentleman here
who will recieve a lot of "Physical Enhancements",
and the other one will be this guy here
who will get more "Psychic Powers" like vermin control. Anyone got an idea who I could use as a base for him?
Up next on my to-do list are 1 or 2 Zombie beasts, large zombified animals, probably one elephant and I haven't decided on the second. one yet. Either a Scorpion or a Snake I guess.
And then there's of course the Zombie Abomination unit entry which can also have a lot of physical upgrades, so I will use this unit to build a Tyrant. I like G, but I don't think he fits into the army concept so I'll probaly try the classic version.
Here are a few pics I made. The whole Zombie Horde, as well as a few Dogs.
Comments are welcome.

The Nemesis model looks ok, be nice to see others such as a Licker and Hunter.
You planning on doing any of the S.T.A.R.S team?

Looking good! Now that's what I call plague zombies!
You might also want to take a look at the zombies made by IceSword which you can find here. They will eventually be released by Troll Forged Miniatures.
By the way, do you have some better pictures of those hounds? How did you make them by the way?

Cool!
Like the nemesis.
The bad guy from RE2 could be made using the spawn as a base maybe?
you'd need a tyrant too of course.

Sounds like a pretty cool project (though I'm not familiar with the game). I'll be following your progress.
And I agree: it'd be nice to get a closer look at the hounds.

The problem rght now is, I'm not so sure what to do about the list. I only have a few units left and so many great creatures from the series to use in this army. There are Zombie Monkeys, which are more agil, but not so powerfull and I was actually planning to make some Eliminators from RE0 for that, but considering their speed, Hunters and Lickers would fit as well. Maybe I use the rules for upgraded dogs for the Lickers.
I build Chris, Barry and Wesker years ago, but they look pretty crappy, so I guess if I ever try it again, I'll start from scratch. Altugh it could be hard to find models for Jill and Rebecca.

I always wanted to field Zombies in 40k games anyway, to this is two birds with one stone
The dogs are from the Zombies!!! boardgame.

I like the idea of using a Spawn as base for "G", but I only have one slot for a "Zombie Abomination" in smaller games. To field another one I would have to build another 60 Zombies and that's not really high on my priorities list
The plan was to use a classic Tyrant, like the one from the first game, as a Zombie Abomination since it can get a lot of Physical upgrades like claws and stuff. Altough I might try to build the mutated form of "Mr. X" from RE2.
Lisa Trevor would also make a nice Abomination of course
I will use this guy as base for Wesker, minus the guns of course

Go with option 3.
I may have to pick the rules up and have a glance, then perhaps a go at making a Silent Hill force for it.

William Burkin definetly needs a spot somewhere on here. If he's not going to be the "Zombie Super Soldier", he definetly deserves to be at least a Zombie Abomination.
Though Lisa Trevor would be interesting to see in a tabletop form.

Sounds like a good idea. I've never been a big fan of "foggy hill" but it might work out.

I just really want a Tyrant in there. I mean another one . The Zombie Super Soldier has the same fielding requierement as the Abomination, so I'll probably won't build one for some time. At least nothing Umbrella themed ( I still got that chaingun-wielding gorilla lying around.)
Maybe I'll do both, Lisa and a Tyrant and equp them differently.
edit: actually, this might be a really good idea. I just need a good picture of him with another background for making the stat card.

The middle Tyrant would be ace and should be easy, twin pair of lightning claws.
Berkin model would be nice as well.

So, it's been a while, but I did some painting for this army. I painted some bats and Wesker, the "Zombie Overlord".
Does anyone have any idea how I could build Lickers?

Yes, this project still exists and since I've been playing The Mercenaries 3D lately I really want to get it back on track. Here's a small preview:
My greenstuff skills are limited, but I think I'll manage a head wrapped in a sack. Automatically Appended Next Post: Lisa Trevor will be next.

As promised, here are the pictures. The Chainsaw Majini is pretty much done modeling-wise, Lisa needs some more work (and a lot of tentacles)

Awesome chainsaw Majini. What would make it even better would be a model Sheva getting sliced in half by it.

I'm leaving for Gamescom wednesday morning and take a small vacation right after that. So you probably won't see anything new from me until september and I thought I could post at least a little update in this blog and the other 2 active ones. I finished building Lisa, and as I said, she just needed more tentacles and started painting both of them:
