I want to start painting a 1000pts force of blood angels as was looking to something like:
Undercoat black
Basecoat Scab red from the front and back of the model
Highlight with blood red from the top of the model. The traditional zenithal highlight with an airbrush.
For that reason I was thinking in going for the model air range does anyone knows what would be the closest colours to do this for their range? Basically a dark read and a light orangy red.

The centre of a massive brood chamber, heaving and pulsating.

Scab Red is now Khorne Red, Blood Red is now Evil Sunz Scarlet.

Squigsquasher, resident ban magnet, White Knight, and general fethwit.

Oh, sorry. I'm afraid I can't help you on that one.

This Is Where the Fish Lives

There is not an exact match for Scab Red in the Model Air range so you want VGC Scarlett Red (012)... Add a drop of Vallejo Airbrush Thinner and you are good to go. Without being at home, the closest Model Air color to Scab Red I can think of would be Fire Red.

Also, check this out if you need color matching help:

I know there is no exact match but since this will be a new army there is no real need for a perfect match. You mean the Scarlett Red for the blood red? You mentioned twice the scab red.
