We all have one, it costs several hundred dollars in ANY currency, it is usually massive, and filled with incredible amounts of dakka, or it just looks awesome. You'd probably spend more on paint for it then you'd spend on entire armies in some cases.

What is your "I wish wish wish I had one of those" miniatures?

Mine is the Lucius pattern Warhound with a pair of Turbo lasers. It costs more then either of my armies individually (yay used shopping) and Apocalypse is not a common game around here... but I covet one.

Honestly, I think I have mine; The carmine dragon and Elsbeth from Forgeworld. Gorgeous sculpt (check the ritual scars on her face!!!), perfect cast too, I'm extremely happy with it. I was hoping to get it done for GDUK this year, but that's looking doubtful.

I want me some Cang. $300 is a bit steep though.

I'd also like a Heresy dragon:

And an Ultraforge dragon:

My dream mini was the Fire Dragon from FW, it took me over a year to get one. But it was worth all the time it took, I have NEVER enjoyed painting a model like I did with that one

Opening it up to an army, I really am getting mine right now... and cost wise I probably could have bought my Titan... but I've always wanted a Sisters of Battle army, and a lot of things broke my way at once to let me start representing girl power in the grim darkness of the far future (tm).

Still /really/ want that Titan... maybe I can start mowing lawns or something on the weekends XD

Edit: Also I don't know to what systems many of the dragons listed belong to... but I want a couple of them... propainted, just for the incredible art value. Jaw dropping sculpts.

Those models aren't made for any specific game. They are just awesome models. And since I'm a painter first and a gamer second, I must have them in my collection.

I forgot something when I posted, I would love to have a complete army for Hail Cesare, more specifically I would like a army of the early Roman republic, to see a army flying the colors and standing firm in the face of a barbarian charge would make a very happy gamer.

I've got a few of those. They're the balls, for sure.

My next "big" model I'd like to get is obviously the Reaver then. The boys need papa to lead the way.

I think a mini of hotsauceman1 rending the overly serious posters of dakka in twain with a flexing of humourous intent would be a winning mini.

I'd rather have a table full of their stuff than most models, even some of the nice ones featured in this thread.

Heh, I always looked at those and thought they were way out of my price rance, not knowing the conversion from aud to euro. So I had a quick look.

Wow. They're actually not badly priced for Australians. They're pricier than GW, but not by so much that it becomes prohibitive. That graveyard is so much nicer than the Garden of Morr, and is only $110au. The Cottage is cheaper than the GW Chapel, and the Timbered house only a bit more. Some of the peices like the Merchants house or Blacksmiths forge are really pricey, likely due to the interior detailing, but still reasonable considering you'll only want one of each.

I think I have my Fantasy terrain found.

I already bought a Garden of Morr terrain and while I find it okay, the number of skulls still disturb me to this day. Darn you GW and your fascination with skulls! It turns from scary to, well comical.

This is still a bit too steep for me, when I do add shipping costs. But I think for the level of interior detail they are priced fairly. Sadly, it would cost me a whole darn lot if I buy enough of these to cover a board for Infinity.

That would be Teclis on the cover. Admittedly much cooler looking than either version of the model.
