So I get a dreadnaught almost finished, then I get distracted by a Stormtalon that half airbrush, and taped off for the last bit. Suddenly out of left field comes the sick urge to paint some orks...

This always happens to me! lol Everytime I get rolling on something suddenly I only want to paint something completely different, and can't motivate/force myself to continue what I've started on.

Anybody else run into this problem?

I also suffer from painting ADD. I have found playing more games with the models I want to focus on helps. As does reading any novels/background info I can find.

I'll finish a model, then think of a great new modelling idea for it, and end up tearing it apart to remodel it.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Paint the orks. Or they'll stomp you good.

Ai that must be worse than having everything half finished

I also have problems finishing things (instead do everything a little), it helps to do several at the same time in different steps. Than you can always choose what parts you want to do at that time

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.
