Hi guys!

Nearly two years after the beginning, my Thousand Sons army is close to finish. But to get the last bit of motivation I need your help
So have a few pictures from what I have painted until now!

Let´s begin.

Herald on disc/chariot:

I built this from the original herald and combined it with a thousand son helment. The disc is a piece of terrain from a GW kit.

Ahriman:

Thousand Sons with aspiring sorcerer:

Rhino:

The doors are from Forgeworld.

Terminators:

I converted 9 of them, but only 3 are painted :( Painting marines and termis takes so long.

Defiler:

Flamers of Tzeentch:

Those are my favorite ones. Fluff-wise they are acolytes who ambush the enemys. I play them with the rules for the flamers of Tzeentch. They
are built from Lord of the Rings Nazghul and flamethrowers

Demonprince:

That one is a Khemri warsphinx. I installed LED eyes and applied a few chaos spiked.

I hope you like what you see and drop me some c&c!

Greetings from Germany,
Ventus

Great job there mate!!

The flamers are super-awesome, and the paint job on Ahriman is really nicely done. The Idea of using the arcane fulcrum as a disc is amazing!

I am really wanting to see more!

Keep up the great work!

Cool! Love the Warsphinx, and all the other bits and pieces.

But why don't the standard troops in power armor have painted eyes?

I really like the look you are going for but every model and vehicle has at least one part on each of them that doesn't look finished.

He used Ringwraiths from LotR I think.

Great job on the Thousand Sons. I might post some of my stuff soon, you've inspired me to get off my ass.

Your army looks really good.

All of the models look really good, but there are somethings I have a gripe with, the Sorcerer just looks awkward with the helm. It's just far too large for his body, and while 40k is no way properly scaled, he'd probably end up falling over during battle constantly. The terminator with the Thousand Son head piece also look's slightly odd, like it's being balanced on top, while the Ringwraith's are a really smart conversion, but aren't my thing.

Over all, the models look brilliant in aesthetic and colouring and I dip my hat to you sir.

There is lots of little stuff that doesn't quite seem finished. For example, the flamers of Tzeentch still have the imperial aquila on their flamers! Gun barrels on TS need to be drilled out. Still, great job so far!

These are fantastic, I love your conversions. The Demon Prince is jaw-droppingly cool, and the Nazghul flamers are soooo much cooler than the standard model. You should be proud of your army! The color gradient on your blues is also very good.

Greeting from the US and the Shenandoah valley. Your force looks great!! A few things need just a little work to be prefect though. The eyes on the marines and terminators need work. I would suggest a new color to set them off, maybe a red? Also the flamers need to be drilled, the aquila needs to be removed, last the hands need to be redefined. I must say I would be pound to play against this army, GREAT JOB!!!

Just forgot what I was going to say.

If you read up on the background of the thousand sons, they are just suits of armour with the souls of the dusty remains controlling them, so doing glowing eyes would look amazing!

The paintjobs came out very nice, it looks as if you had some frosting problems on some models. What kind of varnish are you using?

Very nice army! I like the paint scheme. However some models looks like some small details were missed or unfinished on a few of the models.
