I needed to make a terminator librarian for the NOVA, so I decided to convert a GK terminator to be my Ultramarine terminator libby. The GK terminator kit has an amazing amount of detail and bits plus every set of armor has a psychic hood built in. But... with the alternate armor, I can't decide what head to use. I definitely want a helmeted head since I hate the idea of exposing one's head while wearing armor. So, fellow dakkites, which one of these heads do you think works best?

Option 1: Stock GK Terminator Head
Pro: Fits the model
Con: Very GK, not very C:SM

Option 2: Beakie Head
Pro: Looks pretty cool
Con: It is a power armor head on a termie body

Option 3: Stock Termie Head
Pro: Fits with C:SM termies
Con: Fit is kind of awkward, would need to build up the neck

Option 4: Mk 7 Head
Pro: Fits the torso
Con: Looks kind of funky

I'm really liking the way the MK 7 head looks on him. Gives him more of the slight "caster" look to him as opposed to many Librarians who just look like a beefy scrapper who also uses psychic powers.

Maybe a hooded head rather then those.

Perhaps one of the DA heads might look better (of course, you might not have one)

Otherwise, Mk7

As a matter of fact I do have a DA head. So, option 5:
Pro: Castery
Con: The hood doesn't fit in the socket very well

Another option is I could order a mk4 head from spikey bits. This would make him have the same helmet as the FW Red Scorpions librarian: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blood-Angels-MK4-Maximus-Armor-Head-Helmet-Bit-/200801322398?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec0b1059e#ht_1645wt_906

What exactly is stopping you from shaving it down a little to fit?

I saw the first 4 options and my immediate thought was that because you intend on running him as a liby, to either give him a hooded helmet, or put in a bare head and sculpt a million calbes plugging into his head.

Then I saw the DA head, i like it the best of the previous options, though it still gives too much of a DA feel.... I'd reccomend just going with a bare head, and find some guitar string, cut to size, and glue the bits in around the head.

Or use a bare Grey Knight head?

sm libby's have got quite a bit of extensive cabling in their psychic hoods.
