ive seen people talking about them , and about their gun Upgrades.... but what are they, how many points do they cost, and what upgrades do thye get?

You can't just type up every fortification with every upgrade and all the points costs. You can't discuss those things. Like, you're not allowed to here.

If you don't have a 6th Ed. rulebook, go buy one. You need one to play.

What the hell is it? It's a Fortification from the 6th ed. rulebook.

You can ask questions. You can discuss tactics, lists and everything else here. But you can't simply copy and paste entries from GW products on here. You asked for specific points, rules and upgrade options. The answer to your question is in the Fortification section of the basic rulebook.

You need to pick up a rulebook.

I'm going to take a wild guess now and venture that the point of the site is to discuss the hobby and help out fellow enthusiasts without infringing on the intellectual property of Games Workshop and having lawyers descend like Chaos Raptors on a Sororitas convent on bikini volleyball day.

But, to answer your question in a somewhat more defined way: an Aegis Defence Line is Barricades (Battlefield Debris) that can be used by your army for the appropriate points cost. It can be upgraded with one of three... upgrades. A comm relay, an Icarus Lascannon and a Quad gun, each of which will serve you well - albeit in different capacities. It provides a small but valuable firebase for your forces, particularly if you have low armour troops that need protection from return fire without relying on the vagaries of terrain. It, along with the Skyshield Landing Pad, Bastion and Fortress of Redemption and their corresponding rules and points costs can be found described in full in the 6th edition rulebook.

why would i google something when i could simply ask someone who knows what they are talking about on a site FULL of people who play the game that im asking about, i have gathered that is is some kind of building, but people useually dont talk much about it exept for a brief sentence about rerolls or a weapon name... Ive joined recently so i dont even know the forum rules, and i simply wanted to know what something in the warhammer 40k universe was, he couldve told me that it is against forum rules to post something from the rulebook but intead responds like tfg thats always seems to be on every site and tells me to go look it up..

In fact, I'm pretty sure every forum to ever exist tells you to read their rules before posting.

yeah but its like the Read the terms of installment essay on every download... nobody really reads it .... the rules are almost the same everywhere with the no cursing and posting illiicit content and stuff like that so i just follow those
