Hi folks! Thanks for all the support so far.
The idea behind a Cash Mob is that it is supposed to help locally owned, independent small businesses. It was actually several customers of ours who pointed out to us that Play It Again Sports is a national franchise.
When I e-mailed the organizer of the NJ Hamilton Cash Mob about the inclusion of Play It Again Sports, and whether he was aware that they were a nationally owned franchise based out of Minneapolis, MN., his response was, " I am aware that they are a LOCALLY owned franchise." If that is indeed the case, then we wondered why they did not include the Jiffy Lube, Dunkin' Donuts, I-Hop, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and McDonalds that are all within 100 yards of us... and all locally owned franchises.
He has changed the rules numerous times on us (long story), and while it is free to participate, I somehow feel like we are getting the short end of the stick.
We are determined to win this, if for no other reason than to spite him. If we win, we will certainly run some sort of special sale the day of the Cash Mob.
