Simple question: When replacing a model's existing Psychic Powers is it all or nothing or can you pick and choose which powers you want to swap. I read it that it it is all or nothing but not sure what the rest of the community is doing?

And as for the question, it is general, and differs per army, though I'm pretty all but the Grey Knight Librarian must run with all of nothing, but this could change in any given Codex.

All of the FAQs, to my knowledge, word it the same. Until a specific ability comes out in a future codex, it should be the same across the board.

I thought some specific units could just choose some to replace, but in general I think it's all or nothing.

40K:
5000+ points W/D/L: 10/0/6
4000+ points W/D/L: 7/0/4
1500+ points W/D/L: 16/1/4

2500+ points W/D/L: 0/0/3

Grey Knights cannot swap hammer hand. Other than that, it's all or nothing.

Is Synapse, Warp Blast, Shadows in the Warp Field, Warp Lance, all still described as Psychic powers?

I'm pretty sure warp Blast and Lance are; and I know the others used to be "always on" psychic powers. Just curious of a Zoanthrope that want to swap out powers ends up as a 5+ save model with no synapse and 5 powers to roll up.

Note that it's only for Grey Knights Librarians; the psychic Inquisitors still swap out Hammerhand as usual.

Only Warp Lance and Warp Blast are psychic powers, the other ones are special rules.

synapse, SitW, and warp field are not physic powers. I swap my zoan's powers all the time for 2 in telepathy ( primaris and the any other ) and you still get the keep the 3++.
