Another shooting in the States...

Not a killing spree it would seem, just two guys in an argument. Several bystanders possibly hit though.
The gist of it appears to be that someone was sacked yesterday and turned up to have it out with his boss. Lends credence to the theory that you should always fire someone on a Friday

Exactly what happened is still in dispute. The only known items are that the victim was killed by the shooter and the shooter was killed by the cops. The remaining 9 people who were injured by gun shots are in debate if the cops shot them or the shooter.
The headline could easily read:
Man kills boss, NYPD kills shooter and injuries 9 other.
If this is a mass shooting is TBD.

the odds are very good. This also isn't a shooting spree, just a straight murder followed by proof cops should carry revolvers and learn how to shoot instead of spraying and praying.

Seriously though, when will we wake up and learn that the cinderblock ban isn't enough; We also need harsher regulations surrounding brick registration and ownership. Bricks shouldn't be allowed to be stored without locking mechanisms. Kids could gain access to them! Think of the children!

but still, it appears to me that you get much more random firearm violence in the US than we get over here.... or firearm violence in general. just look at the incidents of the last few weeks.... sheesh!

can't we compile all these threads into one like with the mars thread. Maybe we can start a pool and place bets on how long til the next one, and where.
one gun man, gets met by armed cops, and how many innocents get shot in the process? Now think how many more innocent victims could have been wounded if more bystanders had pulled out guns to help.
Those cops needed to take lessons from the michigan cops. 46 shots, hit the guy 40 times.
