im asuming that both songs are in the first episode because otherwise they wouldnt reveal them this early, also they gve away no plot points other than the crystal ponies and that cadence has somthing to do with them. wild speculation here but if you remember those caves from the end of season 2 chrysalis said that they used to be mined by unicorns i am asuming that they are the crystal ponies. but i honestly dont know whats going on with them

Just remembered, Princes Cadence cutie mark is a crystal heart. Considering how good the last two episodes were, it gives me hope that allot of thought and planning was put into season 3

This looks good so far, if our speculation is spot on.

I was really hoping they would do more involving Cadence after the last couple episodes.

And we need more Luna and Trixie. Just period. More of them.

Hmm... Celestia is the Day, Luna is the Night. Is Cadence the Dawn and Dusk? (or maybe Cadence is the Dawn, and Twilight is being groomed towards the position of Dusk?)

Or perhaps Celestia and Luna are the overseers of the Surface and the Heavens, while Cadence is Underseer of the Underground?

Celestia is in charge of watching over the day.
Luna is in charge of watching over the night.
That left Cadence in charge of watching over Twilight.

First, expect specific "Crystal ponies" to be released this autumn .....

Second, Cadance is not related to Night and Day, since she is Love.

Third, By now, the animators has done all the basic movements, so they can do a bit more on details, such as the flowing hair.

Fourth: Given quite great measure of free reins, the makers of the series probably thrive on info, but avoid getting locked by it, therefor DJPON3 in the wedding celebration ... but with magenta eyes and not red.
I would not be surprised if the crystal pony - thing may have been in the works(or at least plans) already last year, therefor Cadance got a crystal heart as cutiemark, but also that the caves was added in .....

So, I've the first and the last page of this thread. This show quite a... following. Seems like every 3rd guy on Twitter has a MPL avatar.

I watch a lot of cartoons and imo Friendship is magic is pretty good. It's fun, as a simple, yet striking look and great characters. It's not my favourite cartoon (that would be TMNT 2003), nor the best (The last Airbender) I've ever seen, but it's still pretty good. Though I don't quite get that huge following the show has.

And for the record, I'd kinda wish my favourite pony would be Rainbow Dash, but it's Pinky Pie.

There's just something about Pinkie Pie that makes her everyone's favourite at some point. IDK why.

As for the thread, well, the first and last pages tell very different stories. I'm just glad we moved out of that phase, some incredibly inappropriate comments were made back then.

I still prefer Rarity myself. Must be the Craftsman in me.

anyone else kinda hoping for crystal golem style ponies....like ponies MADE of crystals...maybe have some dwarven style story going on hence why their in trouble...or is that just me :3

I'm really happy that their going to be making more episodes about cadence seeing as we know pretty much nothing about her although I dont really think she has anything to do with night, day or anything inbetween.
