There is also a degree of validity provided not from faeit. The above states from wd, can't see them making that up? Or perhaps they'd rather lie about a single point of strength difference in a gun? That'll show us!

Big Mek in Kustom Dragster with Soopa-Gun

Makes sense to merge the Boomgun and Killkannon, since the Boomgun was superior in every way yet basically the same thing. Better strenght, ap, and range...only drawback its on a low armor chassis and has a 1/6 chance per turn to not be able to shoot (YEH PRESSED DAT!!) but the upside dramatically outweighed the down.
Hope the killkannon gets a range boost. 24" pi plate on a BS2 model isnt very.....favorable....lol...i was more afraid of hitting my own boyz than the gun even being effective for the cost. Turn one i'd be fine, turn 2+ odds are i got boyz within 12" of my target if i can only shoot 2-3 units at 24"

for you buggie fans, WD says buggies will have more options (nothing about a new model, one can hope!)
Orkemidites are also talked about, saying they fight alongside of Ghazkull. They use teleporta arrays to move faster through the battlefield. Possible new unit?
Painboyz do give FnP, with hints at cyborg bodies.

I just worry about warbikers, i recently decided to do a themed biker gang army and I love the rules as they are. I hope they dont lose their 4+ cover save and TL S5 guns along with that rumoured price drop.

Well, a 24" S8 AP3 Large blast weapon does sound good enough to me for only 30 points Plus, now it should not make lose the transport capacity of the Battlewagons!!! (as per Looted Vehicles rules)

No mention for the cost of Painboyz. I calculated the points of the battle report that was written vs the points that was listed and it was over by about 10points.
It's hard to say, I'd expect anywhere from 30-50pts for a painboy.

afraid of hitting your own boyz?! If you're not HOPING to scatter and hit your own boyz, your orks are doing it wrong imo.

They did mention a speed freak motors. They say it fits perfectly with unbound armies. It makes the hint that they will not be troops, which makes me a sad evil sunz player :(

I'm wondering what the urty syringe does.
Also, no troop warbikers - boo. Aircraft troops and no biker troops is just the sort of player disconnect I've come to expect from this company

Can always just run them with Zhadsnark from FW, he allows biker troops.

Basically, they merged the killkanon and boomguy. That was to be expected as they were so similar. Nice boost for Megadreads too.
Wow, Killkannon is all buffs. Half price, bump in strength to 8...they want to really push those upgrade sprues!

Half price on the looted wagon at least, which makes a bit of sense considering its dramatically easier to kill than a battlewagon.
Hope the BW gets a cut for its own killkannon. Even if it went to 50pts i'd bring it. Used to say less, but with the buff to S8 i'll spend a little more.

60 was outrageously over priced. Battle cannons aren't really that great, so a half assed battle cannon with a third the range was really not a great option.
That said, they didn't cut the price for the battle cannon in the Astra army, despite it being poor at killing vehicles now.

With Chaos bikers dropping to 20 points, White Scars to 21 points (with massive buffs) and Eldar jetbikes going all the way to 17 points while gaining jink and rending, I don't think we have to worry. Ork warbikers are perfectly costed at 18 points compared to other codexes once you mathhammer it out. Bikes being somewhat/dramatically undercosted is the status quo so far .
What were the 4th edition Chaos, SM and Eldar bikes prices? 30+ for the MEQ? Although I might be thinking of the 3.5 Chaos codex.

I was personally hoping for a small buff to Boyz rather than a point drop. I feel they should be better than a guardsman or a guant, and thus should have a higher ppm.

In my opinion boys need more options to make their blobs better. Lookng at AM they get to make theie blobs fearless and have a ton of weapon options. More options than just expensive rockets and a single nob would be awesome!
