Quick question, what do you guys think, should the camo on the cultists be mixed between both squads or, should each sect have one type of camo throughout?

for the camos, I was thinking urban, and something like multicam

I would say Mix the Camo schemes between both squads, give them an even more rag-tag look to them

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

I was thinking fluff wise the men split into squad based on their affinity for type of combat, so thats why each squad is mixed camo

Depends on your army's fluff - if they're a well-organised cult who carefully equipped themselves (perhaps a loyalist army who recently Turned Evil), then yes, squad-specific uniforms/camo makes some sense.

But if they're just a random collection of crazed nutters, then consistent uniforms (or any other equipment) will be the least of their interests.

Camo Schemes? These are chaos cultists dude... save the camo schemes for IG! The champions of chaos don't cower behind walls or try to blend into the background. Half of them are not even wearing a shirt.

But maybe they've just looted an army depot (or Gap )

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

My justification for camo is they were either members of the Royal Guard (blue uniforms with urban camo, reds, blues, and browns for clothes) or were part of the Planetary Guard (muticam and whites/browns)

Justification for hoods/shoulder cowls being camo is that they stitched up old scraps/extra material from the guard depots. I think having mismatched and useless camo is something cultists would quite enjoy

I'd go for different patterns, with similar colours. It would break up the squad's shapes into dissimilar ragamuffins, but still keep visual cohesion for easy identification on the tabletop.

I would also make them a rainbow of diffrent clothing and looted goods.

or just make em look like they came from a metal/punk rock concert.
